I know this was almost 2 weeks ago, but I'm so sorry to hear that. I know what you are going through. In summer 2007, my dad went in to have a stent put in...long story short, they tore his artery doing so and he had to have emergency bypass surgery. He's better than ever now, but that was the worst time of my life. I hope everything is ok with your stepdad.

Heh, I was just about to post saying I thought my first ever internship interview went well, but as I was doing so they called and said I wasn't chosen. Oh well, you live and you learn. It was still a very helpful experience!

Oh well, can't win 'em all. Green Bay deserved this one, they were the better team in every aspect. I was a Pack fan for about 7-8 years as a kid, so if anyone else is going to win, I'm glad it's them. I'm happy for Rodgers too, with all the talk about him being in Favre's shadow and whatnot. Being a Steelers fan, I'm just so happy my team is in this situation so often. Some teams would die for just one Super Bowl, let alone 6, and 3 chances in 6 years.

Honestly, I thought this year's batch of commercials was pretty lame. None really stood out. EDIT: Yeah, the Darth Vader one was pretty good...forgot about that one.

It's amazing that cities like NO and Pittsburgh can muster up so many people for these parades (more people then the population of the entire city), yet when the Lakers win the NBA Championship, only about 300,000 people show up out of their almost 10 million population.

Now if this were being built at KBF, that'd be different. I think your taking the word compete too far. They didn't mean to say that they are two rides that are trying to attract more people to that park. I was simply trying to tell eltoro96 that no one except maybe a select few are going to consider X-Raptor a "success" or "failure" over X2. That's it and that's all...nothing more, nothing less. Anyway, moving on... That does look faster than I thought it would be! Especially the lift.

They could, but I don't see why they would. The Rio might end up struggling like the Palms if that happened. The WSOP is probably one of the main things that attract people to the Rio. Caesar's Palace might not necessarily need something like that, considering they're in a fairly prime location. Elissa's original comment was "I never understood how Rio has survived all these years." I was simply naming possibilities as to why.

Same with the Rio. It's around $40 a person. These aren't your local $8.25 Chinese buffets down the street that are all picked through. They are famous, renown buffets that are constantly refreshed.

Yeah, that wouldn't apply to someone in your situation. When I said "it depends what you want," I meant the person who was originally asking the question. And Universal is really nice! They have some great on-site hotels with awesome perks! I stayed at the Loews Royal Pacific. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me!

Actually, I think Universal is definitely worth it to stay on-site also. I'm sure there are plenty more out there also. Anyway, it depends what you want. If you're willing to shell out the extra few bucks for the convenience and early entry, then go for it. If not, then there are some cheaper options outside the park, as stated.

What just happened? Bear with me here, but first the overhead camera wasn't loading so I had to go by the side cam when playing, then after I didn't win the address form came up saying I did win (which I didn't fill out), and after it went back to the main page, the feed was different with different prizes in different places.
