  1. Cooke just elbowed a guy in the head again. Whether it's intentional or not, he needs to play smarter.
  2. Definitely, that's inevitable, but it does significantly reduce emissions.
  3. If anyone is wondering what their credentials are (park-related), they are the designers of the G3 RoboCoaster and a state of the art Motion Theatre. Definitely sounds interesting! Can't wait to find out what they are doing!
  4. Actually, fuel pumps nowadays have Vapor Recovery, so fumes and vapors do not escape. That's why most of the "mom and pop" gas stations are closing, or have closed down. All of the required permits and modifications needed to comply with current emission control regulations are simply too expensive.
  5. If it means the attraction is going to be higher quality and they will upkeep it well, then I think the $5 is worth it. I'd rather that be the case than it being included with admission and end up becoming some dilapidated thing a few years down the road. And honestly, people get to ride a $22 million steel monster for absolutely nothing extra, so I don't see what the big deal is.
  6. Sounds awesome! In my opinion KI is a great setting for this, with the vast woods and all.
  7. Got an invite for the Socom 4 beta! I've been waiting for this moment since 2005!
  8. Sky Rocket is a good coaster. Is it "OMFG best in the world!" material? Probably not. Is it fun? Extremely!
  9. Actually, according to Intamin's website they call it the "WingRide Coaster."
  10. I understand you're basing this off best-case-scenario, but one main thing we don't know is how well the New Texas Giant is going to age. Sure, currently everything looks as if it's going swimmingly, but for all we know the Rocky Mountain treatment could turn out to be a maintenance nightmare in the future. That's like going back to the late 80s or early 90s and polling people on where they would like to see the next Dinn coasters built. After all, weren't Dinn coasters like Mean Streak and TG fairly decent rides when they were first built? But obviously not so much anymore. I know wouldn't want any new Dinn coasters built right now (yes, I know Dinn is defunct).
  11. Link? Proof? I've heard of the contract, but I'm not sure how much longer it's in effect. As have I, but I'm not sure it was ever confirmed to be true, let alone an exact date of expiration.
  12. If it's like Mantis it'll be loud too, adding to that intimidation factor.
  13. I doubt it, considering Gardaland isn't in the US. After all, there's another El Toro.
  14. I can't believe I have only 7 more weeks of school left...ever!
  15. The Mortal Kombat demo comes out tomorrow for PSN users! Well, non-PS+ users at least. Can't wait!
  16. My parents have never seen the Back to the Future movies, so this past weekend I watched the first two with them. We still have the third one left to go (I have seen it), but they seem to really like them so far! I can never get enough of those movies!
  17. ^ Yep, in fact they both ran at the same time for a period of time. I went to DP in '08 and rode both Laser and Possessed.
  18. Nope, for the most part they don't go back until September. That's besides the point anyway, a Math and Science week/day is never going to be held then. It's always held towards the end of the school year, not right at the beginning.
  19. I doubt it would be that soon. I'd also expect Cedar Fair to "experiment" on a different coaster first, such as Mean Streak, to test the popularity for themselves and possibly work out any kinks. SOB would be a HUGE project to undertake, and I would assume they'd want to get everything right before making such an investment.
  20. That's because you went in July/August. Math and Science week is always the first week they are open, when kids are still in school.
  21. They're truly fun when you are good at them. If you do "average" online or are just not that good, they are a LOT less fun. That's when playing with a group of friends comes in handy. If you all are bad together, it just turns into hilarity.
  22. Big Dipper at Geauga Lake. That thing can stay there and rot for all I care. Every single time I rode it, it has jammed my neck and made it sore for a few weeks afterward. I have given it many chances to 'redeem' itself, but it was always the same damn thing every time.
  23. I don't know if this is necessarily "major" (or even something the GP would care about), but wasn't one of their coasters supposed to be getting Rocky Mountain topper track (at least in a section)? Or has that ship already sailed?
  24. Avoid those days, it's not fun at all. Don't get me wrong, it's not comparable to a weekend in July or August at CP, but if you wait a few days and go the next week, you'll practically have the park to yourself.
