  1. Expect more family oriented additions the coming years. They have realized that the teen crowd they were aiming at the last 10 years isn't spending as much money as they would like them to at the park.
  2. Eight and last tower section is there, now only the crown is missing. This thing is just amazing looking! Source
  3. Here's two more photos of the frisbee. It has the same paint job as the one in Bonbonland, hopefully this one won't fade as quickly. This is the new 40-people version from HUSS, so the ring is smaller than on the rest of the HUSS frisbees in the world. Here's some more angeles on the Maurer coaster. Hopefully this new Maurer ride doesn't have the same issues as the one in Bayern Park. They come relatively cheap, and looks awesome, so it would be nice to see a few more of them sold. Source
  4. It's actually not going to be that big. Apart from the play structure there will be 4 water slides and a wave pool. Hopefully they will expand the new area soon.
  5. Can't wait to see more of this new ride system built!
  6. RMC coasters have been unavailable outside North america until the deal with Vekoma was signed a little while ago. This ride would surely have been planned for quite some time, so it will most likely be another manufacturer. RMC would be my ride of choice if I were to choose though!
  7. I would give this ride lap bars, like the ones on Dare Devil Dive. Both Lynet and Anubis are so awesome coasters, and can really handle their OTSR, but this ride was just really painful and my neck got really beat up by the OTSR. It's very strange, because no ride has ever beaten me before, not even an SLC, sure some rides have been rough, but never painful. It's such a shame, because the layout and forces of the ride is totally awesome, and there is so much potential, if only they give it lapbars.
  8. According to a reply by Cowabunga Bay on their Draper park's Facebook, construction will start on Monday again. Hopefully it's true!
  9. Found some more pictures as well, looks lie the water rides are mostly done now, and the buildings and infrastructure should be the next thing to get built. Awesome looking play structure Big-Ass bucket The coolest looking drop box in the industry. It's "only" 70 degrees though. Here's the parks most family friendly big complex. I really love the bananas inside, it's really fitting for the Johnny Bravo theme. Overview of the play structure and wave pool. Looks great! Video Above is a short video from outside. Source
  10. Some new photos of the Sphere family ride have popped up over the holidays: Source
  11. The last photo of the tower is simply awesome! It doesn't how much or little downtime this ride will have, when working it will surely be one of the best rides in the world and I can only hope I will get to ride it some day! (I have a feeling we won't see another tower of this magnitude in the world for quite a while, at least not here in Europe). I also wonder how small they can make these 90 degree tilt towers, in order for the sets to return to the upright position in time, while still give some time on your stomach and be interesting.
  12. Thundercoaster needs to become Iron Thunder.
  13. I didn't ride a lot of new coasters this year, so I would say: 1. Juvelen, it's the biggest surprise I've ever had in a coaster. I excepted a regularish family ride, and I got blown away big time! (it's still a family ride, but oh-boy what a family ride it is) 2. Piraten, best coaster in the world, as always. 3. Balder, Speed Monster is pretty close, since it's one of my favorite rides, for a lot of reasons, but not close enough for the third place. Next year will probably be as well.
  14. Well that ride has the blaster section on the hill, which will slow it down quite a lot.
  15. This tower looks a bit different because of the new feature, but the rails that will hold the vehicle in it's place, as well as feature the brakes will be on the different lines of small squares sticking out of the tower. You can look at how it is on Hurakan Condor, and you'll see. I would guess that the longer "beams" sticking out of the tower will be to control the tilting on the way down. Source Source
  16. It's a very good thing actually. Instead of having to work for almost free building this park, most American's have a really nice way of living.
  17. I love the look of that Frisbee! Hopefully they will go through with the theming from the concept art! Source
  18. Tivoli is rumored to get a Gerstlauer family launch coaster for 2015, I really would like to see that rumor turned into reality.
  19. This is probably what disturbs me the most, every time I ride a modern B&M.
  20. Some more pictures. Looking really good! Topping of can't be to far away now. Source
  21. Is it just me, or does this tower lok more "beefed up" than other Intamin drop towers? Source
