  1. Also remember to book online, it's the only way to get the fastpass system (that is free!).
  2. The log flume is being re-themed, in true Plopsa spirit! Personally I think it looks awesome! Source
  3. It has been quiet on their Facebook page for 3 months, and today this reply was sent from the park: Since they now feel confident enough to update people on Facebook again, I think they have resolved most of the problems that the park was facing.
  4. It's funny, because I have been thinking of them expanding the area around the bobsled coaster into a viking themed area for a a few years now. The park will reveal everything tomorrow, hopefully there will be another smaller ride for the children, as well. I have full faith in Djurs to theme this really well, and make it look awesome. I have to confess that I would have preferred for a water park expansion to come before this one, but oh well, this will be totally awesome! I wonder if the coaster will get a repaint as part of this, it starts to look a bit faded.
  5. Blue Fire makes most B&M's feel rough.
  6. Turns out the track in the earlier post was not for this project, this will have the classic blue Mack paint. Well actually it looks to be a darker shade of blue than the others, looks more similar to Manta. And now an even more interesting question, where will the red track go? Source
  7. You need to remember that the $24 millions is the project cost, not the cost for only building Banshee. I promise you that the removal of the Son Of Beast coaster took away a few millions of the budget.
  8. Someday I'm gonna take the train down during the fall and do a carnival trip!
  9. This one is pretty dope. Source Source
  10. It just looks so fucking amazing! The shark statue (or whale, or whatever it is) is apparently around 200 feet tall! Source
  11. It's running! Second photo is looking kind of weird Source
  12. "Pedal boats and canoes are pulled ashore, and the lake is almost drained! Can you guess why? Psst .. Keep an eye here on Facebook next week" I really hope it's an expansion for the water park, and if it is, I really hope they chose a quality supplier for the new rides. Source
  13. Thank you for the clarification! Are there many of these around? Except the ones at Noah's Ark and New England?
  14. For those of you who don't know, Kärnan is a castle in Helsingborg, around 45 min away from where I live. In order to make some good theming of that, the speculated budget of €25 million seems possible. If it really turns out to be Gerstlauer, a really good thing is that they know how to deliver Ejector airtime. Source
  15. They could be, but it would be a smarter move IMO to get the new Vekoma trains, since they also offer a much improved wheel assembly.
  16. Ah, I see! Thanks for clearing it up.
  17. ^ I remember those trains, and I'm pretty sure they were not an official Gerstlauer train, it was made by some guy who wanted to work in the industry. I would guess for a Gerstlauer here, but I would love for it to also be a Mack or Intamin.
  18. Please explain the difference between number 1 and number 3?
  19. There are huge differences in those two type of rides. The master blaster have become more powerful in recent years, but it's still pretty "slow" uphill compared to the new magnetic technology. On the other hand, the blasters have much more of a water slide feeling, compared to the magnetic ones. There's no real answer to which one is better, as they are so different, personally I would like parks to offer both, but if I really had to chose I would totally go with the magnetic one. Whitewater have just started building LIM driven rides, and it will probably only be a question of time before Polin and the German manufacturers also start offer them.
  20. ^ No, as far as I'm understanding it, the sphere is not open inside like a bowl or a tornado, it follows a fuzzy path. The path is still big enough for the ride to give different experience, if loaded differently. I still can't for my life figure out how it looks, and Polin is very tight lipped about it.
  21. I would really like to see the first big hyper coaster from Mack or maybe Gerstlauer. Can't wait to see how this develops!
  22. And it is gone. Looks like they are going to do an alton towers and save the a corkscrew. Source
  23. I'm going to go a little further here and say "Classic" carousel; one with an organ playing and hand-carved horses. Don't forget double decked
  24. New picture from Saturday. Seems like a buss has been added as part of the theme. Source
