  1. ^ Yup it's there, on the other side of the park. There's also suppose to be an Intamin water coaster/hyper splash. Some rumors have said that this is were Pilgrim's Plunge is going.
  2. I'm not sure I can remember the most intense, but a few moments comes to mind: - The launch on Stealth. - 9 flipping ride on Insane. - First ride on a megalite. - Hang Over the first time (Vekoma Invertigo), I was only 10 at the time and it was my first big coaster. Honorable, non-coaster, mention is plane on a stick at Tivoli!
  3. This look totally awesome, even though I don't like the colors! Source
  4. Sweet! Jet Rescue clone confirmed. I do find this park a little bit weird. The flat ride collection is totally awesome with a Star Flyer, Mach Tower clone, Booster ride, Air race. But why on earth are they having two giant frisbee's? And also a Spincycle clone! Can't wait too see the place when they clean up construction.
  5. As some of you already noticed on Screamscape an old favorite is back, and it looks awesome! I've been waiting for the Enterprise to get re-launcehd. Enterprise 2G - New suspended seat design Enterprise 2G - Operation Enterprise 2G-Plus - Operation Enterprise 2G hybrid Source
  6. I was simply saying that they do more than sell.
  7. I read that they also do the electrical (read: boring) stuff
  8. I would have an extremely hard time to decide between the two. The first drop on Geforce, and the first hills and over bank is really really good, but then it kinda dies down IMO. Helix is awesome, the two airtime hills is just as good as on Geforce and it maintains the variety and speed into the end, but it never really reaches the extreme. Man, that's a really tough choice.. Oh well, still prefer the megalite to them both by far
  9. Awesome! Holiday Park is really nice, and it has evolved a lot since my last visit in 2012.
  10. It seams more information is surfing! www.folkbladet.se/nyheter/norrkoping/domstolen-gav-klartecken-for-wildfire-8178065.aspx The CEO says that according to the original building plan the ride would have been finished already this fall. They are now going to update the schedule with RMC and Vekoma, but he feels hopeful for a late spring opening!
  11. You can continue to listen to an article you read written by someone who I presume has no real connections to the park. Me? I'll listen to the dude that owns the park that called me tonight when they got the news. I do believe they have gotten the yes, I was simply stating that I don't think they will be allowed to alter the site of the ride until the court have made the ruling. The ruling may already have been made, it can usually take a few days over here until the document becomes public.
  12. I think it is definitely possible, maybe not opening in May, but certainly during 2016. I read an article a few days ago, when the Land and Enviorment court visited the park, who said a ruling would come during August. Even if they have gotten a preliminary yes now I don't think they can start building until the court have ruled a final yes.
  13. That is great news! Full photo report expected!
  14. Lools like Nigloland is adding new thrill ride/rides for 2016! The announcement will be made tomorrow if I have understood everything correct, and they have been teasing about it the last few days. What is know is the location in the park, that it is two rides, they are thrilling and vertigo is involved. The capacity is 24 people (this is guessing) and the speed is 100km/h. The rumor is that they are adding a pair of S&S towers, but we will see soon! Source Source Source Source Source
  15. I think the main reason to why the Intamin Prefab never really took of is that it does what steel coasters do, it dosen't have the characteristic of an wooden coaster. Parks who are looking for something like El Toro have gone with steel rides. I don't think RMC coming along have had any effect on sales of potential Intamin Prefabs, nor do I think they are any cheaper. When RMC came along they kind of reinvented the wood coaster in a way never seen before, which is why parks are so hot for them right now, kinda like what Ben and Jerrys did with ice cream. When the Prefab came along it was a big evolution in wooden coaster building technique and getting a smooth ride, but that's pretty much it. It never was that sensational reinventing of the ride. I would really love to see more Prefabs built!
  16. It's gonna be interesting to see how this unfolds! I can see them reusing a lot of the slides if they are going with a more traditional style highly themed water park. I can also see a scenario of them doing something really unique with the new park theming wise like Blizzard Beach, which requires all new custom made slides, and selling the wet'n'wild slides.
  17. A couple of years ago Proslide talked about merging the Kraken Racer and the Octopus Racer. We all know that Whitewater beat them to it with the slide below, but it now looks like Proslide is ready to make their own version of the OctoKraken! Whitewater Whizzard Twist Proslide's OctoKraken concept
  18. I love Gerstlauer and the ride looks awesome, but it will be a long time before I set fot in this dump again!
