  1. That theme is awesome, and since it's Plopsa it will be the way it looks! A quick comparison on Bing Satellite shows it to be a 100% clone
  2. That support is standing on it's own, it's not connected to the hill.
  3. That looks absolutely spectacular! I wonder if it will have just the one loop, or more inversions. Also funny, now Intamin have been using three different structures for their lift hills, if this get the I305 style lift with just two supports.
  4. Nah, forget about those! These are what you want: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f0TFFeS_J7s
  5. Spectacular addition! The Sky Rollers are great rides, an with the added height it will be awesome!
  6. Great news, I have really been waiting for another on of those, it's been like what, 10 years now since the last one?
  7. Nor a fan of the colors. Usually I don't say this because it always look better once erected, but that blue is just to sharp! Hopefully I'm wrong again. Source
  8. There's more, Moser just built their first one in turkey, it look almost as big as the Zamperla one: Also Intmin have there own. They even opened it a few years before Huss: Although this could technically be a new a smaller version from Huss, Zamperla etc.. everything points to the Mondial Ride: It's not unheard of that new rides have big reliability issues. What matters is how the manufacturer handles them, and if the customer feels taken care of in a good way.
  9. Great news from Djurs! They recently broke their old record for attendance on a single day, they had above 20 000 guests. Also they are up 10% from last year, and they predict that they could, yet again, have their best season ever. The new family land is acclaimed as the star in the numbers, and more families than ever is visiting. On a more serious not the park have been in a media storm lately being accused of racism. It's about two attractions in their Africa-themed sections. The Cannibal Pots and the Hottentot-Karrusselen. While I personally don't really care, I can see why some find Hottentot-Karrusselen a bit racist, the name Hottentot isn't really a flattering name for people with African decent in Denmark. I can see them renaming it and replacing the man in the middle for next year if it keeps going. As for the Cannibal Pots I don't see anything weird with it.
  10. Lift and first drop looks great, not nearly as weird as I imagined them to look! Source
  11. Adventure World is opening a new slide in a couple of weeks for the upcoming summer season. It will be the world's tallest and longest Proslide Tornado! Source
  12. ^ Yeah, it makes sense for it to be in front of the ride. One of the most interesting stuff I've seen is the guy landing in the toddler run at Rauland ski resort. Before putting the heli down the last meters he opened the door and put his head out backwards, just like he was pocket parking a car!
  13. That looks so cool! If I owned a water park and was buying a coaster I would have a seriously hard choice to make! Yup, and it looks pretty awesome. They have taken an approach to have lot's of water sprayers on the side, and along all the uphill section, unlike regular blasters who only have one or two blasters in the middle of the slide. It gives it a lot more speed and should make them be able to have steeper and much longer uphill sections. Also I saw that they have this new cool block system who keeps and eye on the rafts so that the ride can switch of the jets when a raft is not approaching, saving lot's of money in operations cost. While I'm sure it's cheaper, it probably not as much cheaper as one would think. It's looks like a pretty complicated ride system compared to a regular blaster. It would be really cool to see how it compares to a Rocket economically! I would guess that the main selling point is lower operation costs and that a lot of parks prefer blaster slides due to a bit more water slide like experience.
  14. ^^ I have seen quite a bit of the norwegian air ambulance showing of during all my ski trip's and vacations, but I will say that that right there is just plain stupid. It would literally take nothing to throw him of just a little bit and into the ride.
  15. I'm sure there's crapload of engineering and safety on this ride, but just the thought of one of these capsules coming down the runout upside down would turn me of from riding it. Maybe in a few years when I have seen them operating for a while.
  16. Awesome!! This is by far the best report from this park I have seen, I had no idea about much of the rides you shoed here.
  17. I still can't get over how good this Tornado complex look! Awesome speed slides! This tube complex look insanely awesome! Proslide Kidz slides are really dope! Source
  18. From the info I have been able to find it's only the zoo, which is yet unbuilt, that have been cancelled. This is due to the land for it being of some historical value from the 1400s.
  19. Awesome! I've been wondering when we would see a water driven coaster from Proslide
