Photo TR: Off-Season Aerial Shots over Cedar Point!

Postby bgroodog » Sat Mar 14, 2009 11:47 am

Hey everyone, I'll keep this short! I just got back from an plane ride over Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. I would like to thank my buddy for giving me the opportunity to go flying with him, he did a wonderful job piloting the plane! Enjoy the photos, and hang in there... The off-season blues are almost over!

Great photos! And with Wicked Twister, there were many occasions throughout the season that I saw maintenance working on that tower so this does not surprise me.

Incredible, awesome, insane!

I really wish I could visit Ohio this year. Those pics just emphasize my desire for Intamin goodness. Too bad the closest Intamin is about an hour north.

I know quite a lot about Donkeys!

I have only ever been to this park twice in my life, but what is wrong with wicked twister? Both times I have been, the ride was running and running great too. I don't know the story behind this ride I guess, besides they put those little support beams at the top of the support tower to hold up the track.

All I want is a chainlift!

Great pictures! Cedar Point really is completely surrounded by water...and the ride overview shots on Maverick, MF, Raptor, and Mantis are really cool.
