K1ngdaKa88
The last few days I've been in Italy. I was visiting 3 Parks: 2 Theme Parks and a Water Park. We started by getting up at 6 o'clock in the morning. We departed at 7am. After a 3 hour drive we arrived at Acquaworld in Milano. We had some fun, but left 4 hours later because we've seen everything. Sadly I didn't made any photos of it. At 2:30pm we drove to Gardaland (1h 15min). We've booked an season pass, because that was the cheapest option for us. So we first went to the ticket booth and got our passes. After that it was about 4:15pm and we had some time to visit Gardaland in the first day. Nice looking fountain in the entrance We first went on Mammut, it's queue was a walk-on! GARDALAND Next: Oblivion-The Black Hole Weeee Review: Awesome Dive coaster! Strong G's in the first valley (gray-out danger!), floater Airtime on the hill and a bit of Hangtime in the roll. It was soo cool, I strictly went on it again! Q-Time: 5-10min! More Photos will come tomorrow... ThemeParkJunkie51290
I want to visit that park so badly! Sadly, I'm so far away, but it's still a possibility I could get here in the future.

Awesome wing coaster Lifthill And last but not least, the kiddie credit WTF!? Selfie stick alert!!!! Sleeping time on Raptor Station with the train. As you can see on the image, it is one of the Vekomas with the more comfortable vest restraints! Corckscrew Find the mistake.... Magic Mountain and Sequoia Adventure Up side down We're on a log flume...
robbalvey
Great report so far! It's a shame about this: Such a great pic, but of two bad coasters. At least the Vekoma now has the better restraints so it makes it tolerable.
K1ngdaKa88
^in my opinion, both are a lot underrated! The Vekoma was running very well. It was rattling, but didn't hurted! We rode it about 5 times during our visit! And Sequoia Adventure is also fun! The upside-down parts weren't that bad at all, it was a fun ride, so we rode it twice. gerstlaueringvar
Great photos! Didn't know Magic Mountain is all green now! Is the end of Oblivion really as slow as the POV had shown?
cfc
Still haven't been to Italy for either parks or culture--must rectify that someday.
K1ngdaKa88
Great photos! Didn't know Magic Mountain is all green now! Is the end of Oblivion really as slow as the POV had shown? They repainted Magic Mountain this winter I think. Oblivion is quiet fast in the first parts. On the Hill you get nice floater Airtime and on the end it is a bit slow, but because of that you get some nice Hangtime in the roll!

K1ngdaKa88
^that is your opinion, my friend's and my opinion is different! It is okay if you don't like it, but I like it. Would my friend and I smile, if we don't like it?

Paradox
So why is Sequoia Adventure bad? I've always found S&S's restraints to be quite comfortable. Nice to hear the new Vekoma trains help the ride as they seemed to work wonders on Python as well. If they put them on Goudurix maybe it wouldn't be as bad anymore. Werner
^Gouderix will always be pure Horror! Great TR, so far.Gardaland is for me the best overall park in Italy, visited all big parks last year. And Garda really stands out for me. Mirabilandia has 2 really great coasters but the rest of the park is kind of meh... Now show us some Movieland! _koppen
Really great photos from a park high up on my visit-list! That new green paint job looks weird though..
K1ngdaKa88
The photos of Movieland Park I will post tomorrow, but first I have a short Question about these two Pictures: What's wrong in these two Pictures??
rcjp
Nice report! ^Well, as to the first I'd say the restraints? (intamin's rather than B&M's)
K1ngdaKa88
^Well, as to the first I'd say the restraints? (intamin's rather than B&M's) Correct! But what's wrong in the 2nd Photo?
_koppen
^Well, as to the first I'd say the restraints? (intamin's rather than B&M's) My thought exactly! Edit: Oops, I forgot to update my browser!
K1ngdaKa88
^no problem What about the 2nd Photo? Hint: You have to know when it drops down!
Nrthwnd
The "Y" tilts, and the "L" drops down a bit. And then ---> you drop.
K1ngdaKa88
^that's true, but where should the car be when the letters drop?!? So and here is day 4 of my little Italy trip: Movieland Park Even if the Italians had no school on may 1st, the park was really empty, probably because of the bad weather! Diabolik U571 Kitt Super Jet U571, I didn't went on it, because we were quiet freezed because we were wet and it was windy and a bit cold! Kitt Super Jet, a cool speed boat ride Entrance And there is the Vekoma Invertigo, Diabolik We first tried Magma 2.1, a really wet studio tour Here the truck gets filled up with toxic liquid to splash you! Water! Brontojet It was a intense ride, but made fun It gave me a bit of head banging in the Cobra roll, but the rest was alright! It is wayy better than a Vekoma SLC!!! I spy a Log Flume, but we didn't rode it! Ahh, a classic Schwarzkopf coaster, I liked it! Flintstones themed area The solution because of my question about the picture of the Hollywood Tower is coming tomorrow, excepted someone of you gets it correct! More Water! There is no fun to be had on those two coasters Great trip report so far. I personally found Gardaland nothing special and would be in no rush to go back. I do agree with sleep time on Raptor though because the 2 B&M Wing Riders I've been on (Swarm and Raptor) have both been really boring.
Hilltopper39
I've always kind of liked the vekoma inverted Booemrangs, they're pretty fun and usually surprisingly forceful. Way better than a standard boomerang.
K1ngdaKa88
^ I also kinda like the Vekoma Invertigos. I can't tell if it is better or worse than the standartd Boomerang, because I've never ridden one!
