Hopi Hari Theme Park 2011 - BrazilPage 22 - Hopi Hari closesUsers viewing this topic: No registered users and 1 guest Hopi Hari Theme Park 2011 - BrazilHi folks,
I'm creating this topic to make a little on the Hopi Hari, the second largest theme park in America Latin, located in Brazil. I'm Brazilian and I live in downtown São Paulo, 50 minutes from the park. I have the passport Annual (That's the same access as often as you want for one year) and then go several times. There is no topic to date, 2011, talking about the Hopi Hari, the current situations and so on. Hopi Hari is in the town of Vinhedo, São Paulo. The park has an area of 720 thousand m², with 58 attractions divided into five thematic areas, which are: - Kaminda Mundi: Portrays the countries of Europe; - Wild West: It depicts the old west of America; - Infantasia: An area reserved for children with a theme of Sesame Street; That in 2012 will be replaced by Looney Tunes, because of the new 10-year contract with Warner Bros.. - Mistieri: portrays a lost continent, Egypt etc; - Aribabiba: An area futuristic, with lots of color and joy; This area will also gain a new theme, only Justice League, reformulating its attractions and also gaining new This year, he was made a deal with Warner Bros., to add the Looney Tunes and Justice League in Hopi Hari. The contract is for 10 years and this, in 2012, the park will spend $ 4 $ 60 million in new attractions (we hope a new roller coaster), marketing, redesign of areas and other factors. The last time I visited the Hopi Hari was on April 22, 2011, when he was rolling the event "Hopi Night Eléktron" an event that happens at night until 21 o'clock, with 3D projections (3D glasses they give free for everyone), laser's, lasermans, dancers, a true ballad in the open. Or rather, a "copy", but very good, the event which takes place at Disney's California Adventure, "ElecTRONica." The "Hopi Night Eléktron" just a few weeks ago, but for the holidays, has already scheduled another event, more for families. Since this park was very crowded, we decided to buy the "Hopi Pass" (a paid extra passport, which you access the attractions without having to stand in line, as with 'Fast Pass'/'Express' of Disney/Universal ..). We went to Montezum, the largest wooden roller coaster in América Latin; the "La Tour Eiffel", Intamin Giant Drop; in Katapul (Thunderlooper or King Kobra), a loop that goes back and forth; in Vurang, a roller coaster in the dark, Intamin indoor; Evolution; the River Rapids "Rio Bravo" and other attractions. It was a wonderful day! Hopi Hari recommend to anyone wanting to visit Brazil. It is a great option for a pass play. Re: Hopi Hari Theme Park 2011Looks like a very good park - with many unique or seldom-found rides.
Plus they've a weight-drop shuttle-loop by Schwarzkopf... ![]() But Brasil is so far away.... ![]() Re: Hopi Hari Theme Park 2011Looks like a nice park. Someday I'm sure TPR will venture down that way.
Re: Hopi Hari Theme Park 2011Hopi Hari is a very good park. They recently signed a contract with Time Warner and anounced a 60 million USD renovation including 4 new rides and re-theming of some areas to include the characters from Justice League, Looney Toones and Penelope Pitstop.
The renovation will start in october and the park will anounce soon which are gonna be the new rides. There are talks about a new coaster - and we, brazilians, are really hoping it`s true. Lucas, congratulations on the photos. really cool. Re: Hopi Hari Theme Park 2011That looks to be a scenic, well-themed park with a fun ride collection. I love a well-run Evolution, and Montezum is just beautiful. I would love to visit!
Re: Hopi Hari Theme Park 2011Montezum can be very different depending on which train you ride. One of them (I don't remember what color) is pretty smooth, making it a great ride. The other one shakes too much and makes it look more like Rolling Thunder. Still it is a very good coaster, specially if you come on halloween, when they switch one of the trains so you can ride backwards, if you want to.
Evolution is very nice, but they run it in a too short cycle. Two very fun things to do at Hopi Hari: riding their zip-line across the lake and flying on the sky coaster above the same lake. Re: Hopi Hari Theme Park 2011
Today we had a great news! From the 'Hora do Horror' (Time of Horror), the horror event that happens in the park, Montezum, will return to operate with 5 cars in two trains as before. It will give even more to feel the "air-times" the roller coaster. The Evolution is a much larger cycle. They are returning four for each side, depending on the size of the queue, the operator leaves even more time. Now we'll wait for news, new attractions, new areas of the Looney Tunes and Justice League and the long-awaited new roller coaster! : D Hopi Hari Theme Park - Brazil! www.hopiharimania.com
Re: Hopi Hari Theme Park 2011We don't get to see a lot of photos or reviews from the Brazilian parks so thanks for taking the time to share this with us.
By they way, this would make a really good trip report to go on our front page. The only thing we ask is that you upload the photos to TPR instead of linking them externally. If you need any help doing this, feel free to send me a private message and I can walk you through it. Thanks again and welcome to the site! ![]() Return to Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
