Which sensation do think is better at the top of an inversion?

Positive G's or Hangtime?

I think that hangtime is better by far. Honestly, I don't see what the big deal is with +G's. To me, all it is is a force that staples your restraint down into you.

I really enjoy hangtime at the top of big vertical loops, because it can be quite disorienting.

For those who don't know, hangtime is the feeling when gravity is fighting the centrufugal force in an an inversion at the top. You somtimes even float up a little bit.

Hang time is what you get when you slowly float over the top of a loop.

how about Positive G at the bottom and hangtime at the top lol...I prefer positive because that makes for a more intense ride experence

That wasn't what the poll was about. I meant hangtime at the top or positive G's at the top.

I agree Positive G at the bottom and hangtime at the top is best.

What I don't like is an inversion that pulls hard G's all the way around.

Both.

I love positive G's, they make the ride far more intense. The Vertical loops on Vekoma Boomerangs, for example, are very intense. Batman the Ride, too.

I also like hangtime, but only if it's done right. Viper at SFDL's corkscrews come to mind. I don't like the nut-busting SLC hangtime, or when it's on a launched coaster, it makes me nervous then.

I prefer + g's in inversions. I even find some "hang time" to be uncomfortable, like on a "Super Loops" or "Kamikaze" when the drunk carny thinks it's funny to keep you inverted for several minutes.

Hang time is cool on most flat rides for a short period of time, IMO, like SFNE's Catapult which slowly dangles you upside down but keeps moving.

Oh, I'm sorry, you may have misundrstood what i mean by "hang time".

Hang time is just what you get when you slowly float over the top of a loop, not when you are stuck at the top of a "looper" flat ride.

On floorless coasters I really enjoy floating out of the seat on the top of the loop. But my favorite loops are Schwarzkopf loops. Unlike the loops on Batman which pulls all the way, these loops have very strong G-forces entering and exiting the loop, but not quite as strong at the top. But still they are very intense and it just feels so great to fly through a loop with only a lapbar above your knees.

As much as I praise stengel on his "clothoid" teardrop loop, I really wish that the top didn't have such a tight radius.

Really, it depends on the inversion. On loops, Id have to say I prefer positive Gs like an SK looper, while hangtime on B&Ms is fun, you just can't beat being whiped over the top. Zero-gs obviously floater. Corkscrews can go either way: it's really fun to be whipped through a corkscrew, but ive been on a couple B&Ms where you just coast so perfect over the top it's awesome. Dive loops I like hangimte because I think it's fun when you're launched up and then just kind of 'fall" through the half loop. However, I like immelmens to be intense. Cobra rolls I like to be in the middle, where you feel constant force, but arent necessarily being "pushed' into your seat.

Speaking of Zero G Rolls, can anyone who has repeatedly been on a bunch of B&M coaster answer my question?

Do Zero G Rolls vary greatly in size on different coasters?

I know that some are higher and some are lower, but how about size?

I noticed on kraken, the floating and disorienting feelings were much more noticeable, however, on the hulk, it was more af a feeling of getting puled down and around in a circle.

What makes this difference?
