ElBlufer Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Who's gonna fork up the money to register www.guysbodyparts.com ? looks like TPR...It sends you to the main forum page.
Louise Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 My computer is still being a royal pain in the arse, I've only managed to view one video and see the first page of photos, but it's enough for now, LMAO!! I'm so jealous of Robb taping my name across Guy's ass, but I'm sad it didn't get to stay there all day. Never mind, pure comedy anyway. Well done to you guys for raising so much money! And well done to Robb for successfully negotiating Guy's, umm.... Front.
shesaidboom Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Good for you guys for raising so much money. It looked like a fun event and for a good cause too. Hopefully next time Guy will sell off more body parts, he seems to be getting a good start already I thought the area around Tatsu looked much better when it wasn't covered in that green fluffy stuff. I wonder what possessed them to go crazy with it. Great pictures and videos
Luxo Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Who's gonna fork up the money to register www.guysbodyparts.com ? looks like TPR...It sends you to the main forum page. LOL! It went to godaddy.com before, I guess there will be a page dedicated to *shudder* Guy's body parts.
cfc Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 ^^I imagine the "green fluffy stuff" is the result of hydroseeding, where they spray a hilly area with a solution of grass seed and some brightly colored fertilizer glop. (They need the color to make sure they have full coverage.) They didn't mention that the "soylent green" fertilizer glop was made of people when I was a horticulture major at Cal Poly-SLO town. Learn something new everyday on TPR. Nice to see that my fifty bucks was put to good use!
shesaidboom Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 ^ Learning things is always good! I knew nothing of this process, but am kind of glad to learn that it's not actually part of the themeing.
robbalvey Posted May 7, 2006 Author Posted May 7, 2006 Theme Park Review made the Santa Clarita newspaper! Well, at least Antonio and Giovanni did! Congrats guys! --Robb "We have a copy of the paper for you." Alvey "Team Theme Park Review!"
Corkscrewed Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 Hahah, pretty cool! And all for a good cause! Hilarious update, guys!
B.Toast Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 ^ Learning things is always good! I knew nothing of this process, but am kind of glad to learn that it's not actually part of the themeing. There would be riots in the streets if that was part of the theming.
J man Posted May 7, 2006 Posted May 7, 2006 This has got to be the most disturbing update ever put on TPR!!! That was way more Guy than I wanted to see. The Viper video was hilarious. You get to the front and find out it's closed
ECZenith Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 Hilarious videos. I can't believe the sheer amount of people waiting in line to be dissapointed. Hehehe!
Bob O Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 Congrats on the award and the money you were able to raised for a great cause!! Now, how cold was it?? It doesnt seem cold enough to be called a" polar plunge " (lol) To me a polar plunge is when people up here jump imto Lake Michigan on New Years day and it is very cold!!
ECZenith Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 Don't they consider cold in Cali like 65 degrees? My workplace did a polar bear plunge in new bedford in the beginning of april into the freezing sea and there was an insane amount of people that showed up! Madness I tell you!
Guy T. Koepp Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 Congrats on the award and the money you were able to raised for a great cause!!Now, how cold was it?? It doesnt seem cold enough to be called a" polar plunge " (lol) To me a polar plunge is when people up here jump imto Lake Michigan on New Years day and it is very cold!! Believe it or not, the water was actually warmer than the pavement. It was real nice once you got in.
USRoadTripper Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 I rather enjoyed seeing my pickle drawing on Guy's suspiciously hairless body! I will certainly be renting a body part next year for this most awesome of causes Glad you guys had a good time! -Julie
ChrisFL Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 Sorry I couldn't make it out there, had some major personal issues with a friend I had to help out that day...long story. Anyway, I'll catch you guys the next time you're in O-Town!!
the_rock401 Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 I'll tell you what a real Polar Plunge is. Try jumping into a hole cut through 24 inches of ice on White Bear Lake (MN) on a Saturday morning in the depths of January. Now THAT is a polar plunge.
Guy T. Koepp Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 And doing this makes you better than us, how? Guy "Nothing is ever good enough for the ungrateful." Koepp
Gnome Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 ^ clearly it shows that your brain are biggerer than other people.
