steel Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 Vekoma:Is it like Vee-coma....or like Va-coma? I've never been sure if the e is long or short.... Neither. It's more like "vay-COMB-uh" The "vay" is a cross between "va" and "vay," but it's a little more "vay." Sort of like "veh." I mispronounced Tatsu until yesterday. I was saying "TAT-soo." with an "a" as in "apple" Geauga Lake went through a lot. First it was "goo-AY-gah (I don't know how I got that)," then it was "gee-AH-gah," with a hard "g," as in "goat." Now I'm right. Space Mountain. Yeah, that isn't true...
BeemerBoy Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 I always think Kingda Ka is pronounced Top Thrill Dragster. Now that's good comedy.
