waterviper Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 No way it's all about kung pao chicken at Hunans!!
V2-dude Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Taco Taco! Burrito Burrito! Taco Taco! Burrito Burrito! Â Â ...sorry, I was um... a... anyways, I like tacos better.
Nrthwnd Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Um, hardshell or softshell tacos? Â Â (Actually, I lean towards them rolly burrito thingies.....mmmm yum.)
ebl Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 "chimmichangas from somis cafe" (sfmmFREAK) Â That place is four miles up the road from my house---and, believe it or not, I've never been there! But I've heard great things about it! Â Anyway, I'll take a good combo burrito from almost anywhere over a taco. Â Eric
BelizeIt Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 There is nothing better than a made to order Gourmet Burrito from "Chipotle". Â Even though the wait in line can often be excessive, it's worth the wait!
CoasterExpert13 Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Burritos maaannnnnnn! Gotta love burritos.....Don't like hard tacos...shells cut my gums lol..
MrMorgan Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Home-made burritos/fajitas are the BEST. Tacos are way too messy.
Movieguy Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 It depends...homemade, I prefer tacos. Â When I go to Taco Bell, I prefer their burritos.
haiderodes Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Fuh-jeye-tahs! I loved that Family Guy episode. Â Anyways, I like crunchy tacos...especially on Taco Tuesdays at Del Taco. Then again im also partial to the grilled stuft burrito at Taco Hell.

coasterguy618 Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Ever hear of smothing called a Crunchwrap Supreme? AMAZING!
ebl Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 ^ Yes, those are really good. And, I just may have one tonight! Â ^^ You're right. [hangs head in shame] And I've been in Camarillo for 20 years, too! Â Eric
shepp Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Um, are we talking pathetic fast-food stabs at authentic Tex-Mex food, or the mouthwatering al pastor San-Francisco-Mission-style burrito from Taqueria San Jose (named by Arthur Frommer's Budget Travel magazine as the world's best taqueria), conveniently located three blocks from my house?
phazan Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 I like salmon...skip the tacos! Â No, really, I love BajaFresh!
Imhotep Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Hmm.. If eating at Taco Bell, burrito. If anywhere else, tacos. I strongly recommend checking out Tijuana Flats if you are near one. Probably some of the best Tex-Mex Ive ever had. And they probably have one of the tastiest websites on the internet! http://www.tijuanaflats.com
Movieguy Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Oh. I completely forgot about this one local place we have not far from my house. It's called Viva Taqueria (A take out stand, with a full service restaurant section called Viva Cantina), and it was started by a Mexican-American who moved here years ago. I actually washed dishes there briefly, and got to fry up some nacho chips too. Â I never tried their tacos, but their burritos are HUGE, filled with the meat of your choice, including Chorizo, which is hard to find in a restaurant around here, and all other kinds of good stuff. They even have a selection of hot sauces made from different peppers you can use. Â It's some of the best Mexican food I've ever tasted, and the restaurant was recently voted as having the town's best Happy Hour.

Yours sounds better.   Actually, we have a wonderful Mexican restaurant (Tio Pepe's, been around for nearly 20 years now!)) 2 blocks from us here. I love their food in general, but the burittos are wooooonnnnnnderful. (smacks lips) And it's served to you in a nice tiny atmosphere of music and 'okay' kind of decor....  Mmmm.
rollermonkey Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 I don't like crunchy, so no traditional tacos or taquitos for me thank you. I miss being able to have a chorizo breakfast burrito! (Not too much Mexican food is available in Japan!)
