maliboomer
I've heard on mulitple message boards that the new Soarin' queue is way better then DCA but I wasn't expecting the difference. I was throughly disappointed with the Cali versions queue and this is superior. Its very sleek and MCO Aiportish with lots of blue. All these pictures are from http://themeparks.com/ sorry they're slightly grainy... Signage I believe this is where the DCA outside queue is? The area before the queue is directed to the two theatres
robbalvey
Wow! That does look nice. I mean, it looks like an airport, basically, which I guess it was it's supposed to look like. The DCA version really has no queue theming....just a bunch of hallways...but then again, would it be a recent Disneyland Resort addition without a hallway? Â --Robb "Soarin...Tower...Buzz....etc..." SharkTums
I like indoor queues! Â Elissa "what were the 'screens' people were talking about in the queue?" Alvey
Billy Hill
Much better indeed. Then again, it wouldn't take much to be a major improvement over DCA Soarin's queue. Although I like the ride itself very much, it's an all-time disappointing Disney major attraction queue. The sad thing is that in most other parks that I've visited the regular Soarin' queue would be more than acceptable. It only sucks because it's a sucky Disney queue. Sir Clinksalot
I dunno, the Paradise Pier attraction queues are pretty bad. I still think the best queues in DCA are Grizzly, Bugs (duh), Muppets (duh again) and SSL. Â The rest are just kind of bleh ... and not Disney standard IMO. Billy Hill
For the most part, agreed. ToT's queue (the inside part) is pretty sweet though.
Billy Hill
I forgot to mention... I've never actually been through SSL's queue. I've only stood at the entrance part to have a smoke. It was closed down before I ever had a chance to ride it.
COOOOLkid
yeah... only if they didn't have the outside queue... WITH switchbacks...
coasters 4 me
I think the 1st one is way more nicer looking. I like blue, so it fits my colour scheme. But it is just alot more exciting than the 2nd one.
CoasterFanatic
I dig the queue, but why does the logo have to look like a video game logo from the mid to late 80s? Edited March 22, 2005 by CoasterFanatic
RCTfan
Garsh, I work right next to the Land and I haven't even ridden it! UNFAIR. I can't wait to see it in person, I HEAR (curses) its amazing. Â And how dare you visit Soarin and not come to the Living Seas to visit! You missed out on Turtle Talk, how could you?! Â Its the number 3 top rated attraction in ALL of Disney World! Yes indeedy. Jose Eber
I'm surprised pics were posted. During the tour you are asked not to take any photographs. Â Let's hope this leak won't stop them from doing testing with the public.

Hattuchili
I liked the pictures, but yes, the logo looks a little bit strange. I hope the ride is better as the logo? Â --Soeren
socalMAN123
Yeah it probably is better. Even though that logo is ghetto, doesn't make the ride like it.

maliboomer
Okay, I've been asked so many times why didn't they just go and film a Florida/America/World movie instead of showing the current CA one when it first opened. It's because you don't just strap a camera to a helicopter and fly around. You have to write a script, have many location scouts, permission to film in National Parks, Editing, Decide on FPS etc, etc, etc.
JT3000
And in recent Disney fashion, they were too lazy to do all that.
maliboomer
^More like they haven't had the time, it took them over a year to get all permissions to film the CA film.
CreativeForce
Well the rumour mill has been grinding out that a new film for soarin will replace the California one once the 50th celebration is over. Of course, as with all rumours (especially Disney), I will believe it when I see the new film with my own eyes!
