EE looks incredible! I've got a friend who's an AP who's going down later this month to ride it, so hopefully he can get some video. This is the thing AK needs to get me down there!

Not trying to jump the proverbial gun, or anything.... but...

I keep thinking from time to time, if EE is a Huge Success and it proves (still) that Disney has the stuff to do such an attraction justice....

Do you think Disney would ever consider duplicating this attraction, outside of the American parks? I mean, I just (literally)salivate, thinking if they (sorry guys) just took out the Indy coaster in Adventureland, at DisneyParis, and then... you know..... "Build It and They Shall Come?"

Or treat it, like some of the attractions (JttCotE;Aquatopia) at Tokyo Disney Seas, and not do so?

Just one of those wild, random, "what if ?" things of mine, heh heh.

This is the sort of E-Ticket DLR needs

This seems like a one and only kinda project. Hopefully it is. An Everest clone is the last thing WDW needs. A four park resort should have more things to claim as it's own than WDW currently does. A lot more. It's biggest original, unique draw until now, ToT, is currently being passed around like Paris Hilton. What's really left?

Thats really true. It seems as if all the popular rides are being transfered to other parks. I wont be suprised if EE is too...

Well what I know, WDW still has Test Track and Mission Space.

Don't take out Indiana Jones! I loved that ride.

EE will be open I think in end of January for good. And then they'll do they grand opening in April.

Just my hunch.

Yeah, I'm going in the end of February. I hope they do that little preview testing type thing that they did at Universal Studios Orlando before Mummmy's grand opening.

How is a roller coaster's mechanics the same as a train ride's? :? The themes aren't the same, either:

Matterhorn - European

Everest - Asian, obviously

I'm not sure, but I think she might be referring to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

Anyway, all this talk about the slight possibility of riding during the preview, despite not having an AP pass really has me curious. I'm going to be in Orlando during that time and I would love to give this thing a try. I'm just not sure I want to spend that much money on admission for something that is incredibly unlikely, though AK is the only Disney park I haven't experienced.

Does anyone know, if there is a chance for Disney Cast Members to ride EE in march? You all know I´ll start working there in march and maybe I can ride it before it open in april!? :?

I'm sure EE will be open quite a bit before that official opening date. I bet you get to ride it several times in March.

^ That is cool. Maybe we can meet there anytime in March!?

Oh yeah...Already scheduled it in my book. What day is it you are landing in Orlando?

I am arriving the Orlando Airport on March 14th! But I have no time at the moment! I am really happy to know a few people from the boards who are living in Orlando, or who want to visit me there! Then I am feeling not so alone!

I don't understand what the point is for waiting an extra couple of months to open a ride that seems to be complete. Just seems sort of dumb to me.
