Yea,  I'm hopeful they tip the cap to Eagle for its 50th.  It wouldn't cost much, to your point.  New paint job and then as a nod to the olden days, let's throw those running lights back up!  That was SO cool to see at dusk/night.  Especially in the back of the woods as you go through the trees with those lights accompanying.  Those were the days.....

They just need to announce a closure for a complete restoration of Screamin Eagle. It would make for one hell of a 2030 season.

Such a crime that COVID ripped away our lives AND it cost us an RMC conversion on the Boss.  I would pay a LOT of money to see what the proposal and plans looked like.....

Oooooh, yes! The return of the running lights would be awesome.

Eagle is far one of my most favorite coasters EVER. I was still working at the park for her 40th. I cant remember if it was that season or a few prior where she got the most love since she was built... new paint, a bunch of new lumber and new chaser lights. Needless to say the lights lasted about half a season and since then, she has been neglected. Now I know with older classic woodies, the attention they need is nonstop, and we all know Six Flags isn't the type of park/ chain to continually keep her topnotch. But it WOULD be amazing to see her get the biggest overhaul since her debut for her 50th. I miss the old que, the massive sign on the mid hill, and the rock logo. All just memories

I'm working on making a 3D printable model of a Bussink Giant Evolution ride, Would anyone happen to have any good photos of Xcalibur or other info that might be helpful for recreating the ride?

Looks like Six Flags is discontinuing Diamond Elite passes and upgrading them to Diamond elite VIP along with a price increase. I assume that will hit our park at some point. Looks like it already happened at a handful of parks

Despite what some on here might think or be sarcastic about; the updates on FB are very well received by the populace and as I've said before are only a win/win situation. If you think they are boring and/or not important, that's totally fine and I would recommend you not waste your time viewing or commenting on them. Spending a lot of time publicly and vociferously denouncing things really just says that it is actually important to you, or that you sadly crave attention in weird ways, or both, or whatever. For those that enjoy the updates, which seems to be the vast majority, they are good PR which only boosts the popularity of the park thus making it likely to increase interest/attendance which is beneficial for everyone in the end. Providing as much information as possible is usually not a bad thing.

I'm still very very curious to see if the memberships survive past this season. Now that we are into the first full year of the merger I keep thinking they will come up with one pass to rule them all but I may be fruitlessly speculating; and I'm not necessarily wishing them to go away because the price we are locked in at for what we get is really a very good value, just a bit surprised they have lasted this long.

The thing about the memberships is they used to be the same price or even lower than the passes in total cost annually.

Now you HAVE to pay the $20 initiation fee which makes the first year of Gold $22 higher than the pass, and every year after is still $2 higher. And you still have to pay the All Park Passport all at once. I don’t think the membership is what it once was.

The Prestige membership is $6 lower annually than the pass, outside of that $20 initiation fee.

I tightened my lug nuts today preparing for the 2025 season. What are you guys doing to prepare?

No pictures. Sorry.

Do you think we'll get a new chef with the kitchen equipment?

I have had my DE membership since 2019.  When Covid occurred, I was given a free upgrade to VIP at that time with no increase in monthly payment.  Since then, I have had two small increases.  Not a big deal though.  As it stands, I can use my membership at all legacy SF parks and waterparks, but not legacy CF parks.  It will be interesting to see how long we will be allowed to keep these memberships.  The 50% off merchandise is a great deal.

I haven't checked prices in a while because I have no reason too, but we are grandfathered in at $24 a month which gets us entry, preferred parking, 2 meals, a snack, unlimited drinks, one bff a year, the various merch discounts and 4 skip the lines a visit at every legacy SF park. Not sure how that compares but for us at the moment it's a pretty good deal. This year we did get the add on for the legacy CF parks, although that only gets us entry and regular parking, no food, but it was only $100. On the other hand if there has been any update to that I have to check the app or website for benefits to find out because I cannot for the life of me successfully get them to change my email from the now defunct one that I used when I first purchased the memberships so I never get any sort of update emails anymore. That is despite about a million attempts to do it myself online, several phone calls where they assured me it was taken care of and at least one in person visit to pass services where they also assured me it was taken care of 🙄

And just like that my last post is partially invalid, lol. I actually received this update, maybe the email issue is finally fixed 🤞(I probably shouldn't talk about it out loud and jinx it) Anyway I'm not sure anyone cares about the rewards program being paused, it really didn't get you much. I maybe used rewards once for a discount on a t-shirt. Interesting that they are throwing everyone an extra bff, but the important part of this is that they are clearly implying that some new passes/memberships to cover all the parks will be announced this season, which I think most of us were anticipating.

The question is how skilled they are at preventing Turkey Leg brawls though!

Screamscape reported that a toilet has been removed in one of the bathrooms. Someone spotted an American Standard box in the storage lot, but there are no pictures yet. Hopefully there will be an announcement soon.
