KingRCT3 Posted December 7, 2015 Share Posted December 7, 2015 It's called a Swinging Coaster by Reverchon (Drifting Coaster might be the name the german showman is calling his). This one will go to the German circuit, and Reverchon is hoping to sold more models, even for parks. ^ That video was shot more than a year ago, when they were testing their prototype cars on a standard spinning wild-mouse coaster. KarlaKoaster Posted December 8, 2015 Share Posted December 8, 2015 It does look a bit rough, particularly when the car is swinging the wrong way into a turn, but bear in mind these are test runs so it's too early to tell whether this is how it will ride (plus we don't know if the car has ballast in etc). Samuel Posted August 2, 2016 Share Posted August 2, 2016 A little bit of a thread resurrection here...I saw this on the "up next" panel on YouTube and hadn't seen this old thread or style of train before. The first zig-zag sequence had me smiling and leaning in with intrigue for the concept, but by the last sequence I'd put my money on feeling nauseated. It looks like the boy facing backwards in the off-ride POV is getting pummeled with headbanging/body slams. Anyone get a chance to ride one these?
