Hattuchili Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 (edited) EDIT: I changed the title, because it looks like there are so many mambers, who want to talk about candy and chocolate stuff from all over the world! It is great to see how this thread changed to a cool way! Photo TR: I got a package! Filled with great stuff. Today I got a package from Craig (Token Yankee Guy), who is a member on the boards. I am sure the most of you know him! However, I told him a few days ago, that I like chocolate. Thats why he sent me some great chocolate! That package made me really happy, therefor I have to say: Thank you so much, Craig! --Sören ....but taste better! Reese´s??? It looks like M&M´s.... That is all from the package. mmmhhh, Hershey´s chocolate oh, what is this??? Lets open the package Here it is. I am so curious... Edited August 12, 2011 by Hattuchili
Louise Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 I really like chocolate too Craig!! And Soren, your package isn't quite as big as Wally's package from a while back...! Louise "I never get mail " R.
Token Yankee Guy Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 Hey Soren, Glad to hear you got my package safely. It's funny to see the candy I mailed out on Monday all the way in Germany via pictures. I'm glad you enjoy the chocolate. ^ CoasterLou, if you want some US chocolate too, simply just PM me your address and I'll send you some, but the catch is you gotta mail me some british candy in return. P.S. I enjoy that british chocolate that is a caramel twist covered in chocolate. I forgot the name of it but it's thin and long.
zaneymon Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 ^ so would i have to send you some New Zealand Candy
Token Yankee Guy Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 ^ That's correct, something that is only sold in that country alone or in that region that you won't find in the US. I'm open to anyone sending me some candy from their home country and I'll do the same, but don't expect expensive candy since I gotta keep a budget. Craiggers "Or else I'll start charging shipping fees "K.
Kroger8 Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 LOL Craig, I could send you some pickled okra, or pickled green beans, or grits, if you send me some chocolate, lol j/k!
zaneymon Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 ^^ OK how do Jaffas and Pain apple lumps sound
BiCoastal Kid Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 Aww, Soren! you look like a kid in a candy store in those first and last pictures! How fitting. Why is the letter blocked out? Some deeply intimate thoughts, I'm sure. -Rock
AllisonY2K Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 And Soren, your package isn't quite as big as Wally's package from a while back...! Lou, girl, I'd be careful about saying stuff like that here! lol!
SharkTums Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 Yeah anyone else kind of disappointed with the Pictures after reading the topic??? Expecting Soren's Package!
DenDen Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 Yeah anyone else kind of disappointed with the Pictures after reading the topic??? Expecting Soren's Package! LOL! Don't say funny stuff after I've had a couple beers. LMAO!!!!!! (Yes, i'm a cheap date!)

Hattuchili Posted October 8, 2005 Author Posted October 8, 2005 Oh, first of all I have to say thanks for all the nice words. I think we can open a "send me some candy/chocolate" thread! I see there are so many members who want some stuff from other countrys! However, no problem! Send me a pm and let me know, if you want some chocolate. I will send you some stuff, but only if I get something back from your country! And not to expensive, I think there should be a limit! --Sören "love Reese´s candy" Schomburg
USRoadTripper Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 Mr. Big bars are the best candy bar I've ever eaten, and you can't get them in the States! Wafer, cream, caramel, crispy rice, nuts and chocolate all in a huge bar! Luckily I have a supplier near Toronto -Julie
DenDen Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 Wafer, cream, caramel, crispy rice, nuts and chocolate all in a huge bar! Sounds like a "whatchamacallit" or a "snickers cruncher" to me.
Louise Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 LOL, I think you've started a trend Craig, TPR Candy Trading! Surprised Robb hasn't jumped on this thread yet, it being food related and all. Monday to Friday from the US to Germany? When I post things from here to the US it has taken weeks sometimes! Huff.
Hattuchili Posted October 8, 2005 Author Posted October 8, 2005 It looks like this thread change into a chocolate exchange thread! However, that is so cool! I have sent a package to Robb, a few month ago, and now a package to Craig! Craig will get a package filled with near 2 kilo German chocolate. Anyway, I think my package from Germany to the US will need much longer! It is not easy, to send something to the US! --Sören "TPR Candy Trading - sounds great" Schomburg
BiCoastal Kid Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 And Soren, your package isn't quite as big as Wally's package from a while back...! Perhaps not, but it looks like it would taste a lot better! Sorry, I just couldn't resist that. -Rock
QuakerOaties Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 Hey what a good idea you guys!! Mark "I want some Canadian or European candy!" Luskus
Space Freak Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 So, there is a German Exchange student at my school that I am friends with, and she says that American Chocolate tastes like Wax. What do you say about that Soren? And man, I tried some of the German chocolate she had, and I fell in love! Oh, that stuff was good. Personally, I like Hershey's chocolate, especially when it is kind of soft from being warm, but not warm enough to melt it. Oh, thats good. Rob
Space Freak Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 Sorry for the double post. But I forgot I changed my avatar, and, well, its my kitty! And so when I post that last message, I was like "Awww, KITTY!!!" I havent seen my kitty in like 5 months.. KITTY
EftelingGal Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 Dang!!! I never get anything Exciting in the Postal Mail.
