HJimmy Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 ^ That ride looks like fun! That is going on my "Must Ride" list. lol
StuckInSD Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 Looks great!... now who's gonna copy it first?
rcjp Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 Thanks for the photos. These Maurer Söhne lap bars are quite interesting as they are more "stomach bars" due to how they hold you. That ride looks cool. With the intamin this should really be a must visit.
tatsu_dude Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 Both coasters look awesome! For the x-train, is each car one or two rows? Kind of hard to tell from that angle. That theming looks amazing, especially around the Intamin, but that castle definitely isn't a ripoff of anything I've seen before... I mean North Korea started to use Volare to torture people, that's a move with great international cooperating significance!

Well, at least the Gravitykraft version rode very comfortably and unrestrictive.
KingRCT3 Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 If you understand french, here's a link to a article about the X-train, writed when they were unveiled at the IAAPA 2013. And for the NoLimits fans outhere, the dev team said they are working on it, so expect to see the X-train soon or later in your game!
DJeXeL Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 ^I opened in Google Chrome and had it translated. Thanks for the link.

Well, at least the Gravitykraft version rode very comfortably and unrestrictive. I've only ridden one coaster with those restraints: abismo at parque de atracciones de madrid and while they were comfortable even during the hangtime on the top of the lift (which means G forces of -1G) they were more restrictive than the other lap bar coaster's I've ridden as they hold you in your lap and stomach. Also they would tighten a bit during the ride but that's okay as long as it's not a long time between the end and actually getting off. Overall I like the design but prefer less restrictive restrains like B&M's lap bars.
Gutterflower Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 (edited) That is one gorgeous ride. The park must be pretty close to opening now. Source Edited November 9, 2015 by Gutterflower

Granted I have only experienced them on Skyloop coasters, but they are VERY uncomfortable. It may just be my body build but the way they dig into my hips is unbearable. If they are not digging into my hips, then they are killing my stomach. I may be on the minority with this, but they are really not comfortable to me. On a side note this coaster looks awesome!
rcjp Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 ^I've only ridden Abismo in Madrid and I did notice that they got quite tight however it was only when the ride was over as it didn't bother me during the actual ride.
Nickstroberg Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 I wanna say that they've been using that restraint system for years before gravitykraft started to. I may be wrong though. If I'm not mistaken though, thats whats on their Xcars as well. I think its one of their selling points; fast load times, and a secure fit for all sizes due to how it "holds" you. Those new Xtrains look pretty badass to be honest. NEED POVs!!
Nrthwnd Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Love the photo of the model of the park, within the model of buildings surrounding it. (Back a page.)
gerstlaueringvar Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Onride POV of Travel Through Europe!! [youtu_be] [/youtu_be] I think it looks like a Mack version of Kanonen somehow...
Midgetman82 Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 I seriously fear for that first hill, but omg the layout and the theming!
RyanTPM Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 The interaction with theming here is brilliant
KingRCT3 Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 I think it looks like a Mack version of Kanonen somehow... But this isn't a bad thing! Kanonen has a great layout but it's quite violent, especially in the s-turn... It's much smoother there, yet it lacks some airtime. Kanonen's loop is also my favorite small loop because of the massive hangtime - it seems to be the case here as well!
BDG Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 I think it looks like a Mack version of Kanonen somehow... But it's an Intamin just like Kanonen. In fact, it pretty much is a clone of Kanonen, only with a lifthill-drop instead of a launch. And mirrored. And slightly bigger. But the layout is exactly the same.
ernierocker Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 The interaction with theming here is brilliant I agree. That is one thing that certainly differentiates this ride from Kanonen.
