mike541x
I went to the Black Clouds and Under Dog tour in Columbia Maryland. The bands were October Fall, From First To Last, Hawthorne Heights, All-American Rejects(favorite band), and Fall Out Boy.

BeemerBoy
Best concert? Easy. Paul McCartney/ Driving Rain Tour 2002. I've been to a ton of shows, but this one stands alone simply because of who it is, the stage set-up, and the fact that he played 3+ hours. Â Followed closely by three others that immediately come to mind: Take your pick....any Buffett concert I've ever been to. C'mon, tailgating in S. Florida starting at 10am for a 8pm show. Brews, friends, Buffett. Nuff said. Â The Boss - The guys put on an amazing 3 1/2 hour show without one single break. Bruce is unreal, and easily the hardest working performer I've ever seen. Â Pearl Jam - 1996 No Code Tour - This was the first time the band had toured in a couple years due to their big fight with TicketMaster. It's hard to tell from the ticket, but that's because they were using a different ticketing company. Ben Harper opened, and rocked. Then PJ kicked arse for 2 1/2 hours in a great show which even saw Eddie climb the scaffolding all the way up the side of the stage and flick off the oncoming hurricane that was only days away. A true rock moment. Â Â So can you tell I love to keep all stubs?
krouvi
My best concert is Madonna at the Girle show tour. It was amazing and back then I was a big fun of her so for me it was realy an amazing night. Â Also enjoyed very much Micheal Jackson show when he was just a star and not a maniac. Â In a month I will see Depeche Mode and I'm pretty excited about it. Â I hope one day top see Robbie Williams as friends told me he is a god on stage.
BiCoastal Kid
Of the concerts I've been to, and this is not indicative of my music tastes at all, but a couple years back i went and saw Vendetta Red, Brand New, MxPx, and Dashboard Confessional at the Atlanta Tabernacle. Usually I don't listen to that music too often, but I must say I was damn impressed with how good all of those bands sounded live. Especially Dashboard, just so crisp and accurate. Â I must sound like a emo whore, haha.
trustkill22
I have seen Aerosmith with Cheap Trick - Copps Coliseum, Hamilton, ONT  I never really heard of Cheap Trick before the concert but after listening to them open up I relised I knew tons of songs like Surrender and I want you to want me and also the Theme to That 70's Show. When Aerosmith came on it was flippin' awesome, one of the best light shows I have ever seen and Steven Tyler on a trapeze swing going over the audience. I have always liked Aerosmith and im also named after Steven Tyler so.  I also saw Slipknot, Slayer, Hatebreed, God Forbid at Six Flags Darien Lake  and all I can say is WOW. Slayer was really boring so we went and looked at merch while they played but Slipknot, not really a big fan but one of the most entertaining things in my life. They kicked major ass. Really good sound for being under a tent and also nothing better than a bunch of drunk rednecks just yelling for no reason. There wasnt even a band on the stage and these guys would just start yelling when they are all by themselves. It was great times.
okinawaboy11
The best concert I've ever been to was actually last night. Â It was at the 930 club in DC. Very nice, small, so the band is very in your face. Â Anywho the bands playing were, in order, The Hush Sound (Amazing Live), Dresden Dolls (Wierd, but also good live), and Panic! At The Disco (4th time seeing them, they get better every time). Â Anywho, the funky circus people from the I Write Sins Not Tragedies music video were there and the entire time Panic! was playing, it was like a big Play. They came out and danced and they had "Acts". The set was truely amazing. There was a big windmill behind Brenden and the rest of the band. And a BIG Panic! At The Disco sign hung up high that was lit up like a circus sign. It was an awesome show. Best one I've been to. Â To make it all better, all the bands were so...so...engergetic, which just made it even more fun. If any of you like Panic! at the Disco, I HIGHLY suggest going to one of their shows. You won't regret it.
BeemerBoy
Dresden Dolls (Wierd, but also good live) Â Â You're right, they are a bit wierd, but actually a really good live band. We saw them at the Tabernacle with NIN, and they won over the whole crowd. I went in there not knowing much about them, and although they're still not my cup of tea, they made a big impression on my wife and I. The chick is kinda like Tori Amos on crack. She rocked that piano/synthesizer/whatever it is (can you tell I'm not musically inclined?).
haiderodes
Gwen Stefani & the Bravery for Pepsi Smash were good. The dancing was awesome. The stage was really cool too!
ventedspleen
I've been to a few. But the top 3 have to be: Â P!nk at Brixton Academy - I managed to get so close to the stage I got to brush fingertips! *swoon* Â Alice Cooper at Manchester Arena - And I so want to see him again and again! Â Anastasia at Manchester Arena - Had pretty good seats as it was, about 11 rows from the stage. But the best bit was halfway through the show, she'd emerged onto a smaller, circular stage in the centre of the arena, 2 rows behind where I was sitting! Billy
i have 3 fav. concerts. ive been to way too many shows, but these are 3 of the best: Â 1. BECK at Roseland NYC on the Odelay Tour. I forgot the year but it think it was 1995 or 1996. Just awesome, it was pretty much during the end of grunge so the crowd was crazy and pretty much went nuts for everything. If you like the Odelay album , picture it live with the typical Beck antics, dancing and people goin nuts. Good Stuff. Â 2. The White Stripes at Keyspan Park, Coney Island. Summer 2005. Excellent show, the crowd kicked ass and my woman almost got into a fight with a girl who pushed her way thru the crowd. This nasty chick looked like a cross between Vanessa Carlton and Keith Richards. Half the crowd wanted to beat her down for pushing everyone around. Some dude used her head as an ash tray. I thought that was clever. Â 3. Blues Explosion, CBGBs NYC. Damage Tour. Spring 2005 it was hot, packed, rockin', rollin', loud and amazing. Its CBGBs , what can i say? If youve seen the BX live you know what its like.

lapseofreason
Best one I've seen so far: David Gilmour, Gibson Amphitheatre, April 20th, 2006. It was freaking awesome and possibly one of the last times I'll get to see this guy in person. The whole show was literally emotional for me and I busted up at the end. Who knows what the future will hold for Pink Floyd's guitarist? Yep... it's over Intermission... time for another giant $12 beer During the show.... Gilmour is down there somewhere. Me before the show... yay. They put that ad paper behind me on every seat.
goleafsgo
Tragically Hip in Toronto this summer was the best concert i have ever gone to
kk_slider11290
Either radiohead, or Coachella 05. Â Radiohead due to the fact it was just amazing, had open seating, meaning i was just feet from thom yorke. Â Coachella 05 due to amazing shows from arcade fire, bright eyes, Weezer etc.
tngdiablo
Definitely Grandmaster Flash in Madrid. Hearing all that old school hip hop was just a religious experience and a reminder of what hip hop really is. Â Only other concert was last year's homecoming concert at Chapel Hill with Common. He really got the crowd into it despite it being in a upscale performance hall. Â Not too many hip hop people here...

Groteslurf
My top 3 concerts ever, all 3 in Sportpaleis Antwerp : 3. Metallica, 2-3 years ago : we had the 2 seats the closest to the stage. Sometimes the bandmembers were only at approx 2-3 metres distance from us. 2. Muse, last year : what a band, what a show, what a music ! 1. Tool at Ozzfest approx 5 years ago : the atmosphere, the music, the mystic, ... it was an unbelievable show and I was completely blown away and a die hard Tool fan since then. shepp
OK, I'm really, really, really old, so...  Back in August of 1967, post-Monterey but before the American release of Are You Experienced?, Jimi Hendrix played a small club in New York, Salvation. As I recall it, there were cushions on the floor, room for maybe a couple of hundred, and I was there, real stoned and real close to the stage. Definitely the most amazing concert of my life.  Other high points: the Velvet Underground at a small San Francisco club in 1969. You can hear it on the live album - almost no one was there. I was.  1971: Aretha Franklin at the Fillmore West when she brought out Ray Charles  Led Zep at Kezar Stadium in SF, 1973.  1978: Springsteen at Winterland, before he was stadium-only  Radiohead's free concert in downtown San Francisco, 1995, then later that year at the Warfield Theater  2001: Sigur Ros at the Warfield  The last show I saw that I really liked was Dimmu Borgir at the Warfield (where I work) a couple of months ago. Not "one of the best," but since I always figured I hated black metal, my enjoying the band was an amazing surprise. Go figure.  And...any Nick Cave show I've seen.  I was also tripping at Altamont, but that's quite another kind of "unforgettable."
CoasterCrazy88
I saw these guys at the Forum in Los Angeles. Â I was basically in the mosh pit, about 30 feet from the stage. They were AWESOME! Gerard's voice was great, and the guitar solos were amazing. The overall show was superb with lots of confetti and pyrotechnics. Â I can't wait to see them in concert again! ----Antonio"They are so much better now that they're sober"G.

alien1279
So MANY good concerts I have been to, but if I had to pick: Â My #1 favorite band is, Lynard Skynard. I got to see them back in Sept. 2006. You have not lived until you have seen "Free Bird" performed live and in concert. It is totally AWESOME!!!! Â My #2 concert of all time has got to be the tour of Chicago/Earth Wind & Fire in 2005. The show was FANTASTIC!!!! I got to see Phillip Bailey of EW&F perform a couple of Chicago classic ballads, that made the hair on the back of my neck stand up and brought tears to my eyes; absolutely beautiful! Each band plays for about 1 hour each. The show ends with a 30 minute jam session of both groups together, doing a medley of their hits. OMG; what a show to remember; it lasted almost 3 hours! Â This September I am going to see Al Jarreau/George Benson in concert. This should be a good concert as their styles will mesh well together. Â Any Country and Western fans out there? Â My favorite C&W concert was Brooks and Dunn #2 is Montgomery Gentry #3 is George Strait
fictionalxxfiend
Hmm, the best concert I have ever been to had to be the Orgy show at the House of Blues in Anaheim. Not for the band for say, but because it was one of the few times, where all my friends had our last grouping before going down our different paths. It was an awesome night! Not a worry in the world for those three hours, and what made the night even better is that we ended up liking the first opening band more than Orgy the headliners that night. I'll never forget that night, it meant a lot to me.
