Fire2box Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 He was also treated to lunch by the park. Hey, free lunch though. I thought dinner came before doing hanky-panky though.
Hilltopper39 Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 He was also treated to lunch by the park. Hey, free lunch though. There has never been a more definitive example of the saying "No such thing as a free lunch".
larrygator Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 He was also treated to lunch by the park. Hey, free lunch though. But then there's that damn digestive process. Maybe it's a raincheck lunch? I hope it wasn't spicy food.
David H Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 For one of the very few times in my life, I'm simply speechless!
BeemerBoy Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Maybe we'll hear from the victim in this thread one day.
theonetheonlyJT Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Maybe we'll hear from the victim in this thread one day.
thrillrider Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 I don't know, I would be pretty tight lipped (no pun intended ) about it if it was me.
brock_boehm Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Oh my God this is so freakin' funny. Why would they even have that metal piece on the car?! What is it used for?!
Skycoastin Steve Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 I've had theme park days that were a pain in the ass, but this takes the cake!
BudtheWeiser Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 When finally loose, the man was bleeding profusely from his derriere and was helped to a lavatory where he could wash. He was then given a pair of shorts and work pants by the staff. He was also treated to lunch by the park. This gets me every time rather than following normal common sense instead of calling for an ambulance they just help him to the toilet to clean himself up I mean really!!
_koppen Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Well, the man himself was really embarrassed, and did not want to go to the hospital. Most likely his wife is the one reporting it to the police.
cfc Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 ^That's what I was thinking, too. Sometimes, we're all a bit too worried about dying from embarrassment (emphasis on the third syllable).
cal1br3tto Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 ^^Hey, now I have an easy trick for remembering how to spell "embarrassment"!
QueerRudie Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Sometimes it's a real pain in the ass to get some credits.
MayTheGForceBeWithYou Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 This is the strangest news of an accident to come out of the industry. Seriously, just wow.
Loefet Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 Well, the man himself was really embarrassed, and did not want to go to the hospital. Most likely his wife is the one reporting it to the police. According to the original article it was his daughter's birthday, and he didn't want her scarred for life for having such an occurrence happening on her birthday when she was young. So he manned out until she was home until he left there. But yeah, embarrassment could be the real answer the other thing could just be an excuse, but it's a really good one and very considerate.
snoflake15 Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 I can imagine the hospital staff.... So sir, you damaged your ass on a children's ride? Yeah sure you did!
