mikeykaise Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 Back in 08 i was fortunate enough to visit Knoebels. Here's a picture of Twister from that day. nice picture... looks like someone is just seconds from suffering a wardrobe malfunction.
gisco Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 I love seeing peoples faces on the ride, a boob doesn't hurt either!
alpengeistfan1 Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 The guy on the left in the third row looks like he has an evil plan...
Hhappy Posted July 21, 2012 Author Posted July 21, 2012 here's a picture from the 2012 visit to Anaconda at Walygator park.. Silly faces and/or some sort of pain .... Or is that joy??
cfc Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 Obviously, all their brains have been shaken loose and are rattling around in their skulls--hence, their dopey expressions.
Hhappy Posted July 22, 2012 Author Posted July 22, 2012 (edited) From the East coast 2008 trip Six Flags Great Adventure El toro Edited July 22, 2012 by Hhappy
sspaz1000 Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 El Toro is amazing. Great picture of a great coaster!
cfc Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 OMG Check out the last wheel of the train!!!! That's why we love it.
RAWKIN_coaster38 Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 I love El Toro so much. That's a great photo. It's funny how everyone has their hands up looking like they're in complete ecstasy, then there are two guys looking like they're dying of fright.
KBrylczyk Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 It's funny how everyone has their hands up looking like they're in complete ecstasy, then there are two guys looking like they're dying of fright. Oh, how I wish I had the onride from my visit last week. My future brother-in-law bought one of the USB sticks with 3 or 4 different onrides and our El Toro pose is incredible. Once I get them they'll show up in the GAdv thread.
cfc Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 It should've won the poll on Insane Coaster Wars last night.
theonetheonlyJT Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 ^ Yes I thought it should have I voted for El toro but seeing that wheel in the air all I can say is epic.
cfc Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 I'd guessed that Voyage would end up "winning," but that ride is pretty inconsistent. Catch it early in the season, and it can be great; ride it late, and it's rough and painful. More of a Raven fan, myself. But El Toro runs great all season.
Hhappy Posted July 23, 2012 Author Posted July 23, 2012 Time for a picture that just does not do the place justice. No picture does this place justice. Even when spending 2 hours at this place.. you will still miss things and find out there was more awesomeness to do and enjoy... Any idea what i'm talking about?? City Museum in St. Louis Fingers crossed i can visit this awesome place again in the near future
Moose Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 I could not believe how beautiful some parts of this crazy place are!
cfc Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 One of the most insane "playgrounds," ever--a huge funhouse.
RAWKIN_coaster38 Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 Wow, you guys really have me curious about this place now. So it's like a giant funhouse/maze/cool stuff to look at and do type place? I love places like that!! Where you just run around and explore and feel like a kid for a few hours.
sspaz1000 Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 City museum is now higher up on my bucket list of places to go.

rctneil Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 That place was insanely awesome. I wasn't sure what to expect before going but you just go in and explore. See a hole in the ground, climb down it and see where you end up. I remember climbing up a metal tube in one room and finding myself above above the ceiling a children's play area style multi coloured tunnel. It was very bizzarre. Would love to return. I loved how it had museum'ey type areas and then all the weird exploratory bits
ernierocker Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 The City Museum is definitely on my list of things to do.

I swear I've had dreams about places like this, but until now I've never actually seen one. Looks like you guys had a great time!
jynx242 Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 City Museum was one of the highlight suprises of that trip!! It was just epic - especially with the amazing group of people that were on that trip! I did, however, leave with several new bruises . It was awesome!
alilstronger Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 City Museum looks AMAZING! What would make it the best is visiting with TPR.
