beatle11
I'm still feeling that Sky Rush ride in the pouring rain! Â Next to the Phoenix "bling" ERT we had, that was probably the most ridiculous thing we did on the trip. It was like a monsoon at times. Really awesome that they still ran ERT for us. It's definitely a great little coaster. I really enjoyed Phantom's Revenge too. Definitely has tons of air and it ran smoother than some B&M's I've ridden. I'm glad we had some surprise ERT on it. And I really like that they have such a great collection of classic flats that are hard to find (Turtle, Kangaroo, Noah's Ark, etc).
Extreme
I think my shoes are still wet from that day.... I totally sucks that i was feeling so bad that night and wasn't able to ride Phantoms Revenge in that dark for the first time. I think that would have been epic. Kennywood is such a great little park cant wait to go back.
disneyfan1313
Wow! I really have to try and make it out to Kennywood. It is great re-reading the East Coast Bash one also and remembering the great times that we had that day!
Meteornotes
Kennywood rules. Need to get back out there for a visit. Â dt
SuperShawn
Kennywood is one of the top parks I must finally visit after moving back east. It just looks insanely fun.
Skycoastin Steve
Kennywood is a fantastic park, I absolutely love it. And Sky Rocket blew me away when I rode it opening year, such a surprising little coaster!
sspaz1000
TPR going to Kennywood is the only way I'll ever go there again. But you guys looked liked you had a lot of fun!
BigDipper 80
Kennywood is just an amazing park with a fantastic ride collection. Everything there just "works" so well. This TR makes me want to get back and ride Phantom's Revenge some more! Still my number 3.
xmichellex
The picture of KT on Jack Rabbit is amazing! Â I've always wanted to go to Kennywood, but it's yet to happen... My last coaster trip was Great Adventure - Hershey - Dorney... maybe I'll have to throw Kennywood in next time (or maybe I just need to do a TPR trip one of these times)! IrishBuckeye
Just made my first visit to Kennywood last weekend. Pretty much agree with everything that was said about the rides in your latest updates. Phantom has an insane amount of airtime, and sky rocket is so fun. Can't wait to get back to Kwood.
mattnz
I'm pretty sure I saw a photo in there of us front row on Phantom's Revenge in the pouring rain - which was fun, if painful! Amazing ride, though, great few days and awesome park. Like Knoebels it didn't really matter what the weather was doing, we still had so much fun. sspaz1000
Kings Island looks like a decent park. Hopefully planning on getting out there in 2013. But wonderful update
beatle11
I would not have gotten the credits without the Fast Lane wristband. I'm really glad we had those, and am really glad Cedar Fair implemented it across all their parks. Firehawk was only running one train, and the ops were slow as molasses. It would have probably been a 2 hour wait without the wristband.
cal1br3tto
I would not have gotten the credits without the Fast Lane wristband. Same. I'm pretty sure I only got my last credit within an hour or two of leaving, though admittedly that was partly due to thoughtless planning on my part (of course, everything TPR set up was perfect).
