I bought a synthesizer at a yard sale today and now i want to put Magnum XL 200's lift hill sound on it.

Oh, yeah? Well, I bought a fan from Home Depot today and now I want to shred a picture of Flight Deck from Canada's Wonderland with it!

Maybe you should buy a paper shredder and shred all photos of all Vekoma SLCs.

^ thank you . It's devastating as we go to Orlando all the time and club there. The police departments here in St Pete and Tampa are on a state of emegency for the LGBT establishments here today. It's intense and a very somber mood around here. I've never flown the gay flag here, but this morning I got my drill out and erected the US and gay flag. It was the very least I could do.

In the time Coaster Counter was tanked, I stopped caring about logging how many times I've ridden a coaster. I cared more about just enjoying the experiences on the coasters and knowing that I could stop at any moment and still be satisfied without needing to hit a certain number.

Then just earlier today, I saw that they fixed it, and I went to guesstimating how many times i've ridden some coasters in the past few weeks... as well as export my list in case it does it again. Oh well!

And not to spur off topic too much from today's tragedy, I've been pretty sickened for most of the day from waking up and hearing the news as well. Terrible, terrible event that I hope never occurs again. Wishing safety to all of those in Florida, especially Orlando, and sending my thoughts and condolences to those affected by this.

^I came close to posting about the seeming demise of CoasterCounter a couple times when I noticed it, but I just couldn't bring myself to say anything when it seems so played out among today's enthusiasts. Thankfully, I stopped counting laps years ago, and in fact, I don't even count most of my coasters on that site.

Relieved that it's back, though, so I can check up on my rankings, which is why I kept on with it after whenever I sensed we'd all stopped caring. (I should really put them somewhere else after that scare.)

And not to spur off topic too much from today's tragedy...

And this.

There's a lovely button that says "Download This List." It does just that (includes lap count and rankings) to a clean spreadsheet to save on your computer. First time I've ever clicked that button, and probably not my last!

As if one incident wasn't enough in Orlando, another happened at the Grand Floridian.

A 2 year old boy was dragged into the Seven Seas Lagoon by an alligator. Searching for the boy has begun, and the alligator was removed from Walt Disney World property.

Saturday morning, a vigil will be held here in St Pete for the victims of the Pulse Massacre at the Holocaust Museum. If you are ever in St. Pete it is a must visit. There is a large section devoted to the LGBT people who were imprisoned/ killed. It is really sobering. They have actual pieces of clothing with the pink triangles on them. They are honoring especially Christopher Leinonon, who was murdered at Pulse. Christopher was honored in 2002 for his work in getting the Gay /Straight Alliace started here in Pinellas county. He is sadly missed. After we leave there, we are heading to the Lakeland Pride, where several other who lost their lives were from.

Just got back from the Rays vs the SF Giants. We lost 5/1. I have never experienced a game like tonight. The unity and love and tears were so incredible. 40 thousand freakin sold out crowd. And all was donated to the victims of Pulse. I have never ever seen anything like tonight. Maybe ,just maybe, there is hope for humanity. I took pictures of tonight and hope they came out good enough to post tomorrow. So amazing how much our local LGBT community pitches in.
