spacemtfan
I agree with both of you. Now, I am an Obama supporter, but I seriously hate all of the people who keep saying "he's going to run the country into the ground" and all of that other junk. Teacups Make Me Sick
I'm keeping my political views mum...BUT...Its the first day of this man's presidency and I cant stand people who are already saying he is on the same significance as Lincoln, Eisenhower, etc. All I have to say is...we will see. Â Lets hope that good things will happen to this country, above all, he is still a politician, regardless of skin color.
AllenA07
^I did actually hear somebody make the comment yesterday that Obama is the greatest American President to date. Â Those comments are annoying considering the man has been in command for a little over 24 hours now. Give it time, my hunch tells me that Obama is going to be an average President. Not ranking in the top 10, but I think he will easily fall in the top half.
thrillgeek
My work (Target) won't give me medical benefits even though I'm working full time. I said that I have Diabetes and they said I still don't qualify. They even offered it to some of the guys at work who are illegal! I think I should sue them! spacemtfan
^ That doesn't seem right. I would sue them too. Though, to be honest, I don't really see how far suing them will take you. Â You can certainly try, however.
onewheeled999
I lost my phone today in P.E. Â The FIRST FREAKIN' DAY that we got dressed. Â I swear I had it in my pocket. I got back and when I pulled my pants out of my locker, my phone fell out of my pocket, so I put it back in. It was there. So I get dressed, walk out, and realize that I don't have my phone. So I run back to the locker room, look everywhere, check in my locker, my backpack, the floor, ask if people have seen it, blah blah blah. Â Nothing. Â And this is the SECOND time that this has happened.
CommanderLock
My autistic brother can't seem to tolerate any changes to HIS "schedule" which involves him forcing my mom to watch TV with him while he watches Youtube, or he starts screaming and almost break things. The one thing he lets my mom watch is ABC Family, and today, of course, they decide to go for different programming. Â The **** hit the fan within moments of my brother turning on the TV and screaming at my mom to watch TV "with" him. He hasn't stopped crying or wailing yet, and my parents are fuming. He can't comprehend that my parents can't change the TV programming. Â Oh, and I've got a cold. Â And even though it's a bit belated, I'm hearing some of the hardcore republicans in my school complaining that since Obama/Chief Justice Roberts fumbled on the swearing in (Roberts fumbled first, then Obama), that Obama will cause the end of the world or something, and that his speeches are just "fluff copy-and-pasted from Martin Luther King's Speeches". I asked for his reasoning/proof/logic out of curiosity, and he gave me the finger with with blasts of his gab along the lines of "YOU F*CKING LIBERAL!" That's what you get often when you live in supposedly the "richest county in New Jersey" known as Morris County, that splotch of red amid the blue sea around it. onewheeled999
Things just suck right now for me. Â My phone didn't get returned today. Which means that I lost all my contacts, photos, videos, ringtones, and games. I'm going to get a new phone, which is good because I hated the old one, but it's still not my phone. Plus, I have a dentist appointment today. Â Also, today at lunch, I discovered the true stupidity of the Quad Patrol people at my school. In the lunchroom, they set off 3 tables for lunch detention, setting people about 6 feet apart from each other on only one of the sides. Talk about a waste of space. Anyway, the first Quad Patrol person was keeping order at those tables, not even noticing that half the people in line just cut, he's only making sure we stay on the black tiles and take off all hats and hoods. Eventually, ANOTHER Quad Patrol came in to talk with the first. And with both in there, some genius decided to chuck a few apples across the cafeteria. They flew. They landed. They almost hit a 7th grader in the head. TWICE. And guess what? Quad Patrol didn't even notice. They're all preoccupied with Logan and his buddies. Â Okay, sorry about that long rant. That just really annoyed me.

Dailey Enterprizes
Not much of a rant that I have, but it still pisses me off that I never saved the videos from my old website, Dailey Enterprizes (old computer died a long time ago). Â I was looking through the web archives and looked up my old site. It wasn't that bad of a site considering I was a 10th grader. It made me a little sad, but now I regret not saving those videos I made.
ebl
"My autistic brother can't seem to tolerate any changes to HIS 'schedule'..." (CommanderLock) Â If you haven't already, rent Rain Man with Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman. Â One of the "ticks" about autism is that the person gets on a "schedule" or "routine" and it doesn't vary. For instance, many autistic children can't even be potty trained till they're seven or eight years old because they can't break the routine of using diapers. My nephew (now 14) was like that. Today, he's into everything Star Wars and doesn't vary from it. At restaurants he absolutely must have his Nintendo game to play the whole time. Take it away, and you get a screaming fit. Â Sorry you have to deal with this. I know it can be difficult. Â Eric
Nrthwnd
Â Have to start using a drops-type thing in my right eye, nightly until my next optical appointment in March. Yankee cannonball
My math teacher's a freaking maniac! Once, he did a math problem wrong and whispers "Sh*t. F*ck this." A few weeks ago I was getting out my homework and he started screaming and slamming a chair against the table because I was taking to long. Then, some idiot near me yelled in homeroom so the math teacher (also my homeroom teacher) started screaming at me. He yelled, and this is an exact quote, "Alex! Did you just yell in my homeroom? Who do you think you are, acting out like that." I managed to say "But I didn't do-" and he launched off again, "No, don't say I'm wrong, because I know that was you! You can't fool me!" and yesterday he pushed a rolling table at a kid in another math class. Also he asked me for a sheet he said we didn't need to pass in and I said "I didn't know we needed to hold on to that." He replies by yelling "Oh, you mean you didn't do it and think you can get out of trouble?!" Is there a way to get the principal in a middle school to do something about a teacher that swears and verbally assaults students?

Teacups Make Me Sick
^Jeeze, sounds like your math teacher is about to have a nervous breakdown. Â I think most math teachers are a bit on the strange side....I used to have one in high school who was so OCD...he needed to have the desks in rows according to there color (and the blinds had to all be even with each other and the garbage can he was using had to not have any garbage)....so of course we would mess with him before he got there. Switched the desks around...messed with the blinds, put as much garbage as we can to fill up all the cans.

Trying to do anything is likely going to make it worse, but if it really is terrible, you can always go to your parents. A call from Mom is going to be taken a lot more seriously then a student in the class.
Anfronee
I am about to Drive 8 hours, to the middle of no where Maryland to visit my parents. onewheeled999
I am just having bad luck recently. Â You know how I lost my phone? Well, today I lost my gym clothes. Â So I was talking to someone at a lunch table outside, and I sat down. About 10 minutes of talking later, I realized I didn't do my English homework and rushed to the library... with only my backpack. And about five minutes before the bell, I realized I didn't have my gym clothes with me. So I ran to the table, and my friends were gone without a trace, and so was my uniform. Â Well, I guess this was kinda my fault.
XII
I hate the bus I have to take. It is packed way beyond it's maximum capacity. I seriously feel like a f*cking sardine in that place. I'm riding my bike tomorrow.
onewheeled999
Oh yeah. I just remembered something from English. Â There is one kid in my class named Alex. He is the most freaking annoying person you will ever meet. Pretty much the grade-A nerd. Â So in English, all of a sudden he starts copying everything I do. Not as in work, but in motions. I was already ticked off with him before this, so this just full-out pissed me off because he just wouldn't stop. No matter what I said or did, he would just never stop. Eventually, he started copying someone ELSE in our group, so I guess that's the good thing... Â Oh, did I mention the seating arrangement? I'm right between him and his best friend, Amaan. And Amaan is like an grade-A++ nerd, if you can imagine that. Think every nerd that's ever been in a cartoon. There you go.
