COOOOLkid Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 sounds like people are more excited about the "sidetrip" to Liseberg
Jew Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 I'm excited you'll have another opportunity to make an awesome video.
robbeal Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 Hohh, trip to Liseberg, now that's something I might partake in. I've been wanting to get back there since I met you lot there this summer. Didn't get enough time there then, so an overnight stop to get all the day in would be ideal. Â See how things go on that front I think.
strange Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 we are in the uk and would love to meet you at some of the parks for fun and frolics lol do you know yet what dates you will be at parks and for those who want to klnow we have never found anyrestrictions on hight as yet
DailyBugle_JL Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 I dont post much on this site but i think i might just go on this UK trip with you guys. Im down here stuck in atlanta georgia, the home of quick thrills until next year. Im ready to leave to states, to up my park count. But i dont know yet if i will be able to go to Leisberg. I just have to see if my parentals will help me out just a little. Â Jeremy "im ready to leave now" Lynch
danandjackie Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 Quick ? when does the forum open, got an email this morning but it seems to just direct me to a list not a forum.. Â Cant wait by the way..
CoasterCrazy Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 ^Go to www.themeparkreview.com/forum and look for it in the members only section.
dubaidave Posted August 28, 2005 Posted August 28, 2005 mYQUESTION IS REGARDING THE lEISBERG TRIP. iF i DONT COME ON THE WHOLE uk TRIP AND JUST MEET AT SOME PARKS, CAN i Still take the leisberg trip? Do you have any ideas how much it would cost? Thanks
SharkTums Posted August 28, 2005 Posted August 28, 2005 ^We're not sure at this time if that will be available to EVERYONE or just Tour Participants. We'll figure this out within the next few months. Â THIS IS ALL VERY PRELIMINARY!!!! The day including roundtrip flight from london to gothenburg, transportation, park admission, one night lodging would probably be a little more than $200. THIS IS ALL VERY PRELIMINARY!!!!
deathmole Posted August 28, 2005 Posted August 28, 2005 Well, I'd NEVER get the whole time of work since I cant take my holidays at that time, however if single day's are open (I know the Gothenburg one hasnt been confirmed yet so I wont nag) I'd be able to come along to one or two if I'm allowed, I'd have a car by then, so watch out!!! Â Zoom!
sfne2005 Posted August 28, 2005 Posted August 28, 2005 Robb and Elissa, Check is in the mail and look forward to meeting you all and chatting more about the trip. Rich
gisco Posted August 29, 2005 Posted August 29, 2005 I think you have just solved my problem on a trip for my daughter's high school graduation. It was going to be Disney World but this is much better. Her and her best friend have always wanted to go to England and France, which we will do after the tour. She will be 17 and her girlfriend 18. In case you guys have any ideas, I'm going too and so is her older brother!
SharkTums Posted August 29, 2005 Posted August 29, 2005 That's great! Little things like this are also good to know (we can have a nice little 'graduation present' ready for her on the bus!) Â If you need any help with sightseeing or what to do before of after the tour just let us know, we're here to help!
Meteornotes Posted August 29, 2005 Posted August 29, 2005 Our deposits are on the way. Many cancellations should now follow this news... Â dt
CoasterFanatic Posted August 29, 2005 Posted August 29, 2005 ^ Nope, still plan on going even with Dave there. Actually, Catrina will be excited that more female units are signing up!
SharkTums Posted August 29, 2005 Posted August 29, 2005 Depending on where you're flying from in the US, people seem to be getting between $720-$1100. I checked for myself and found $1050 nonstop perfect times the other day. Â In our "uber top secret special UK Board" we talk about airfare and other stuff to help everyone out.
SharkTums Posted August 29, 2005 Posted August 29, 2005 Correction, I just got myself $950 R/T air perfect times, nonstop and everything! Â Hmmm...wondering if I'll book it now!
Token Yankee Guy Posted August 29, 2005 Posted August 29, 2005 I'm just glad my Dad made so many trips to Aisa so he racked up some frequent flyer miles which I'll be using. Â My check is now in the mailbox. Looks like the yankee's next invasion will be the UK. again!
SharkTums Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 ^All I can think about when I hear that phrase is the ending to a very bad joke!
