Looks like the drop B&M was going for on that floorless coaster Nitro, yet the Intamin version flows better and looks more visually applealling imo

Isn't it only because Intamin track does not have a rigid looking spine..

Update time!

Dosen't these look nice and comfy?

The pull-through has started.

Roller coaster nerd heaven!

This is what you do when want your coffee break in the middle of a pull-through.

The themening on the elephant for the drop tower has started.

And the other foot.

It's going to look amazing when finished.

The, to this date, biggest Mack Supersplash in the world is starting to go up.

Can't wait to see the layout for it.

I have no doubt that the themening for it will be amazing.

The Supersplash ride is done, and it is ugly!

Here are some renderings of the ride:

Hopefully the themeing on the ride can make up for the less attractive ride.

That photo sure is awesome!

I much prefer the triangle track to the spineless one on Colossus.

Agreed.

^I forgot about this park project as well until I saw that photo.

I also like the triangle track better, and, take a guess... I had also totally forgotten this park until now! Looking really good.

About a year ago there was a strike going on at the studio protesting the park among other things. What ever happened to that?

This is the first time I'm learning that the 10-inversion coaster will have only the lap restraint: FANTASTIC! (And I also love that "looking down the barrel" photo of the four rolls. Beautiful.)

^Same. I had no idea they were going with lapbars instead of OTSRs for this ride. I'm not a fan of the other Intamin "10 inversion" coasters, but I think using a lapbar, and not those head-banging horsecollars, could redeem this one.

The track is also 90 cm wide, compared to 75 cm on the old 8 and 10 inversion coasters. This should also help to make the coaster ride smoother.

I had completely forgotten about this park, and now that its actually being built, it all looks really impressive. As if I didn't need another reason to go back to Italy.

^^I'm wondering the same thing. I'm sure Intamin would still manufacture one if someone asked, but I have a feeling this one is used....

It's a brad new tower. They still sell this generation for customers who would like to offer different experiences on the different vehicles. For an example: regular sit down, stand up, stand up tilt and sit down tilt.

Here's the difference on this particular tower.

^^I knew Intamin would still sell these but didn't know they would do the combo experience in terms of the seats. Good find. Thanks

What is the significance of the massive elephant?

Why would you ever question a drop tower themed to a massive elephant, I think its just there to be awesome.

This park is looking great so far, and I can't wait to see more of that cool looking super splash ride!
