RCFreak
I NEED to have a Moser Gyro Loop for my backyard, I had an inSANE ride on it today and the Sidewinder they had next to it (Baby Giant Frisbee) is perfect for a small indoor FEC and offers quite a thrilling ride for it's size. BelizeIt
I just read through all 21 pages of this post. As always the team of Robb and Elissa keep us informed as well as entertained. Â It's great to see all of the innovations going on in the Theme Park industry. Because even in this leaner economic environment there will always be room for development and expansion. Â I see that Dubai is still trying to entice the Alveys into a visit. With Wild Wadi adding new attractions, and the new Ferrari World. It will be interesting so see Dubai grow over the next decade, as it becomes the premier vacation spot in the middle east.
KnottsDisneyFarm
I would so love to take a trip to Dubai... Â Anyways, thanks for the awesome videos. I enjoyed seeing all the Haunt decorations and stuff. As cfc put it, "It would really annoy my local homeowners association."

Wolf
One thing I found funny was how this show was right next to a monorail (the Las Vegas Monorail)  I wonder how many people actually took the monorail to the show...?  Eric  Quite a few, it looked like. Wolf
Did you guys see anything of the NoLimits simulator, I was told they would be at IAAPA Vegas this year. Â I saw it. MaxAir or something like that. Â Looked pretty neat. Nauseating, but neat.
Wolf
Curious, are companies as small as Interpark, Barbieri Rides (among other small Italian compaines) there displaying their scaryass little rides? I wouldn't mind seeing some of those concepts if they are indeed there! Thanks for the frequent updates! Â Heege Freizeittechnik was there. RCFreak
^^lol regular Huss frisbees face inwards, Huss giant frisbees (like Delirium and MaxAir) face outwards, but whatever kind of baby you want to call it, it was still an awesome ride for it's size and I demand every FEC get one right now! themeparkman25
Here I am sitting in the Las Vegas airport after a week as an IAAPA Ambassador and it all seems like a blur. Â Between the 18+ hour days, the constant working and all the stuff to see, it amounted to the best week of my life. Â If you have the opportunity to be an ambassador, you should definitely do it because it was that awesome. Â Yet somehow I managed to see Robb only once despite the fact I was on the trade show floor from before sunrise until way after sunset. Crazy. I still can't get over how awesome this week was. robbalvey
^ Heh, I saw you for like 10 seconds and only realized it was you for like the last 2 seconds! Â Glad you had a good time! Â --Robb
RCFreak
^^Were you with the rest of the ambassadors at the Moser rides on Friday around 3:00-3:30? You all seemed to be having a blast together and generally enjoying yourselves for the show almost being over. Â And (a possible general) thanks (to one of you) for the free registration to next year's show!
robbalvey
Here is the fourth and final installment of our IAAPA Video Report as well as our final collection of photos!  This video installment includes:  - B&M Interview with Walter Bollinger - Dollywood's Pete Owens - PTC's Tom Rebbie - Lo-Q (The makers of Q-Bot/Flash Pass) - Snow Toobin' in Las Vegas - The Mini-Starflyer - And MORE!   Here is our final IAAPA Photo Update...  IAAPA Day Two!  PTC represent!  Tom Rebbie and Robb Alvey chat about coasters and kids!  PTC has worked on a TON of roller coasters!  This was a Premier ride??? Awesome!  Bongo Beat is kind of like "Whack-a-Mole with Monkey."  Amusement Today will have an interesting announcement later today.  Hey look! It's our Japanese friend from Intamin!  OMG! Those things got bigger overnight!!!  There are a few TPR members who could benefit from this.  Hanno points to a full spread of his photos in Amusement Today.  The National Roller Coaster Museum announced that their building facility has been constructed! Separating from ACE seemed to do the trick to actually get this project going!  Robb hangs out with TPR friend Pete Owens from Dollywood! We will see you again during our tour in 2010!  They got the actual facade that used to be the entranceto the Texas Cyclone!  Time to check out inflatable dinosaur butts.  Dino butts and King Kong. Check!  This could be some nice views of Las Vegas.  The mini starflyer really isn't that mini.  Portable band organ anyone?  Let's hope the mini Starflyer doesn't kill us too much!  I swear I can buy these chains at Home Depot!  IAAPA from the view of the Starflyer!  Is that a football stadium I see down there???  Helllloooooo Las Vegas Monorail!  Is that snow toobin' I see? In Las Vegas???  A pile of snow? Check! Las Vegas Monorail? Check!  Snow Toobin in Las Vegas!!!  Watch out for falling snowballs.  It's funny because it sounds like YouTube.  It's an entire football stadium! This seriously has to be the biggest inflatable I've ever seen!  Giant Cow anyone?  Something new from Swiss Rides for 2010.  It was like an explosion of sound!  The food at IAAPA wasn't as appealing as in previous years.  Now that's how you eat a chick!  There is a Robb Alvey in that skeleton mess somewhere!  What would Boobs be like...on Mars?!?!?!  They spelled Zorb wrong.  Remember kids, if you can't get the rights to something, just change it ever so slightly and you're fine!  Now THAT looks like an amazing bowling game!  These two can roll my balls anytime!  Whatever this turns out to be...Elissa approves!  Ok now we are hitting the rock bottom of IAAPA.  I'm not even sure how to comment. Although, the guy in the cage slightly resembles other Eric Johnson!  It wouldn't be a show about amusement parks without some SkeeBall. Although I wonder if they know about Metric Skeeball!?!?!  MagiQuest has a pretty large booth.  Guns don't kill people, children who play video games made by Cameron with guns kill people! (And Animals too!)  Hi Cameron.  Creepiest thing of the entire show!  I want to be Big.  Max. Buff. And sailor.  Dave, we found you a perfect Guitar Hero controller!!!  So Jeff, what do you think of the show so far?  Oh man, this is why they really shouldn't let ACEers into the show. FREE PIZZA!!!!  Would you rather have Hanno driving the beer cooler scooter....  ...or the hot chick with amazing cleavage? To answer...  EMAIL DAN!!! mrt0ad13@aol.com  Ok, IAAPA, we will see you in Orlando next year!  We hope you enjoyed our IAAPA coverage! Post your comments please!  --Robb  Special thank you to Hanno for the photos and being camera man!
Cyber.Fiber
My mom has both the old man and woman that were at the last booth in the second video. She keeps them up year round and calls them her servants... LMFAO. Â I wish I was joking...
