Chris Benvenuto
I joined this awful site which is full of schmucks. I've corrected friends and neighbors on different rides, and coasters. I joined Theme Park Review I agree there.
Crazy_Behemoth_Lady_Jess
I guess it would be me writing down every coaster I rode at SFOT and telling people what I'm doing when I get asked. Or just walking around with my lanyard full of various coaster pins and telling people what it's about. I've also corrected a countless number of people on information about parks and coasters. Crazy_Behemoth_Lady_Jess
Oh speaking of school related...I guess I'll also throw in trying to start a "Coaster Enthusiast Club" at my school. Still trying to find a sponsor teacher for that right now.

Hockeydad
^Dawn of the Dead. I've actually never seen that, lol. Someday I'll do a Photo TR of the annual zombie-walk the mall holds every year. Me and my wife just went to KW back in May, and stayed in Monroeville, and went to that mall. The whole time I was there I kept thinking that that mall looked so familiar for some reason. We even went to a store there where they had thousands of classic action figures, and in the back they had a section with "Dawn of the Dead" memorabilia everywhere. And it never came to me until now! grinch1313
The dragon wagon rollback was epic! I'm very glad I was a part of it. I do many really nerdy things. Sometimes I even surprise myself. Being enamored when they add a new train or loving watching when track switches. I love the track switch in Expedition: Everest! The best nerdy moment was when I was at EPCOT with Neil (televisedconfession) and we were watching O Canada! And at the panoramic shot of Niagara Falls we both simultaneously point out the shot tower at Marineland!
Em-Z
I made roller coaster dictionaries, complete with pictures, for two of my best friends who I always go to theme parks with. I'm trying to get them to be enthusiasts and come on a TPR trip with me someday, but it's not working out...they just aren't that nerdy!
Hockeydad
Had a friend a few years back that got a couple pairs of customized Nike Shocks with Milennium Force & Raptors names and color schemes on them. As for me, I used to post regularly on Coasterbuzz!

Some Radio Tower Thingy?! Maybe they're radio tower enthusiast" LOL Yeah I'll say that was one of my favorite geeky things too. coastercrzyjames
Joining Theme Park Review and also back in high school getting caught online looking up different roller coaster stuff when I was supposed to be working on an assignment. I collect postcards from parks of different rides and make my own collage type posters with them and hang them on my walls for decoration. I also do the same with park maps I collect. My friends come into my room and make fun of me for it, but I think its cool, so whatever. Also on some various visits to parks with my family my mom will ride next to me and have me "name the element" that we go thru. In my Public Speaking course a year ago I did an informative speech on roller coasters. And I did a career research paper in high school about being a roller coaster designer/engineer, which I'm sure was common of all of us at one point or another. And I too have found myself correcting coworkers, friends, and just random people about rides during conversations. And yes the Zuma coaster on Deep South was definitely a pretty pathetic credit whore moment.
MrX8991
Well, this probably isn't the nerdiest thing I've ever done, but I was bored, so I just got done looking at various websites for the different Roller Coaster designers and noticed a few funny things. 1) GCI's website links to Theme Park Review, which is listed as a "friend of GCI." 2) S&S Power installed "X" in Japan in 2006, according to them. 3) Premier Rides (which has just about the most unprofessional website for any company ever) links to Disney.com as one of their links, despite not installing any rides for them. I find that very strange. Yeah, I was really bored.
cal1br3tto
On the school topic, these are the assignments I've done so far: --Web site, and a presentation about it. Coaster credit info was included in my site content! Wicked Twister and CP Wildcat were my background pics. --Powerpoint presentation and lengthy report about a planned coaster trip that may or may not happen next year (well at least one of my ideas will happen, but not necessarily the main one). --13-page research report on theme park marketing, which is being used as an example for the next class. I mentioned a lot of things I learned about from TPR, such as Dole Whips and Potato Patch Fries. --Some random small assignments. Every time I do a coaster/theme park presentation, it gets a lot of attention from at least one person listening, and some typical misconceptions and/or naive questions are shared/asked. Fun stuff! Speeddeamon128
My room is covered with coaster pics & maps along with my shot glass collection which I have 28. I have borrowed a kid to ride a kiddie on TPR's West Coast Tour twice! I wear TPR shirts & coaster shirts in school. I have a binder that I write every coaster that I rode & theme park that I visited since 2005 & how many times I rode a coaster each year. Basically I am obsessed

Edit: Dragon Wagon Rollback = Scarier than X-Scream That was so amazing. Oh and I almost forgot. I did a power point presentation on Knoebels for computer class once. Also, there might have been a speech in speech class too. Oh, and the short semi autobiographical, semi fiction piece I wrote in my writing class about my first ride on the Phoenix. I got an A+ on that one. Nope, not a nerd at all.
ParkTrips
I don't know whats worse but these two are clearly the worst * I didn't just borrow a kid, I *paid* a kid (Shari's daughter) to ride a kiddie coaster. * I rode every operating coaster on the Jersey shore... in one day... by myself. Mr Stratosphere
Camping out at Six Flags Magic Mountain for Tatsu's media day, and camping out for the Re-Launch of X2. Nerdy as it is, both events were completely amazing!!!!!! John
vuurvogel
I have a folder with all my coaster credits in alphabetical order. Every coaster gets a new page with a picture, stats and funny things to know. Strangely enough I keep them only for counting my credits. I never read them back or memorize any of the stats. but its pretty nerdy.
Crazy_Behemoth_Lady_Jess
Another thing to mention, in math class when we're learning about parabola graphs, I've caught myself countless number of times drawing coaster trains going over them. For those of you who don't know what a parabola graph is, picture attached below: Look it's the TTD tower.
The Disneylander
^ I've done that too! I even change the trains based on what coaster I'm emulating!
Crazy_Behemoth_Lady_Jess
^ I've done that too! I even change the trains based on what coaster I'm emulating! Atleast I'm not alone! On tests if I'm finished the test early I'll draw coaster trains going down the parabola graphs. My teacher loves marking stuff with my "artwork" on it. I do that with the slope graphs too when parabola graphs are not avaliable. I draw coaster trains going down the "hills". Angry_Gumball
OK, so I'm not the only one who visioned coaster hills with parabola graphs...though I always thought that the parabolic shape would give some nasty airtime. Of course, I was at the local community college so I didn't doodle coasters cresting the hill.
KnottsDisneyFarm
I do that ALL the time with line graphs. I am not that good at drawing coaster trains though so they do not look that realistic. My teacher says she "loves my creativity".
Troy98
I was in the front row of silver bullet and the person working there was telling everyone all the statistics of the ride. He said Silver Bullet has 6 inversions and then I blurted out "a loop, cobra roll, zero g roll, and 2 corkscrews/wingovers" and then the guy was impressed
