dandaman Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 Store locator says they're almost all concentrated in Northern Florida now. Damn.
PKI Jizzman Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 Andrew, Tex, Allison, Dan, Luko, Chris, and I got the Whataburger credit! LOL. Very good fries, pretty good burgers... Luko had the Cinnamon roll that took 45 minutes for the to make; and Chris got some sort of breakfast-taco wrap....thing? LOL
Ethan! Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 Great photo t.r.! I have always wanted to go to that water park (I'm not even going to TRY to spell the name!) The downward spiral, nice............... [nin]
moinab Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 Store locator says they're almost all concentrated in Northern Florida now. Damn. There is one less than a mile from us. We've never been there, though.
usctrojansrock11 Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 Great TR, I wish you posted more pictures of schilliterbahn, I've always wanted to see what it looks like.
WildStangAlex Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 Great TR, I wish you posted more pictures of schilliterbahn, I've always wanted to see what it looks like. I agree.
milst1 Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 SeaWorld Texas is a beautiful park, and Steel Eel is my number one steel coaster in the world!!!!! Great to see all the fun people from the Deep South trip continuing the journey...
whorabunny Posted September 7, 2009 Posted September 7, 2009 Unfortunately all Whataburgers closed in Orlando too. Im a truck driver and use to stop there for breakfast everyday. Plusto answer your question about the log flume. Where in Florida was it relocated from? I'm not too sure but considering the only parks that shut down in Fl is Boardwalk and Baseball, Miracle Strip, and then Cypress Gardens (well at least the rides ripped out). My guess is BnB, Busch bought BnB, Cypress Gardens, and SWO from JBH. BnB shut down in the early 90s and SWT got their flume in 96....... so answer is Boardwalk and Baseball
Erik Johnson Posted September 7, 2009 Author Posted September 7, 2009 ^ You are correct! It was at Boardwalk and Baseball. Starke, Florida still has its Whataburger, so I get my fix there. When Robb posts the official Trip Report for Texas, he will include a bunch of photos from Schlitterbahn. I know that he has a lot of them.
rydrmr9 Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Great trip report erik, sucks though there closing all the whataburgers, i always went to the ones in ocala. =p

redfoot12 Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 When Robb posts the official Trip Report for Texas, he will include a bunch of photos from Schlitterbahn. I know that he has a lot of them. Hopefully the "me trying to ride the Flow Rider" debacle pics will be omitted! Loved the pics and the memories brought back!

PriestofSyrinx Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Awesome report. Cant wait to hit up those parks some time! My friend also Said that the Boardwalk Bullet was too intense... Oh and Bonus points for A farewell to Kings on your Ipod.
Erik Johnson Posted September 11, 2009 Author Posted September 11, 2009 ^ They also make good music for park videos as well. [coastertube]http://www.themeparkreview.com/coastertube/play.php?vid=IBinternet_l0ez[/coastertube] Ok I digress, back to Texas!
