Well-known food connoisseur Anthony Bourdain has been found dead of apparent suicide.

And a few days ago, designer Kate Spade took her life as well.

God, this sucks.

It was really upsetting since in my World Cultures class we’d watch Parts Unknown sometimes, and we’re actually doing a project where we have to make a Parts Unknown-inspired video about a place. We had that class first today, and that’s when we all found out.

This has been a rough week and then to find out that the star of my favorite show on TV has committed suicide...damn it, damn it, damn it.

R.I.P. Vinnie Paul.

at least he's going to be reunited with Dime in Heaven.

(no cause of death, but wouldn't be surprised if something heart attack related)

The Old Man from Pawn Stars, Richard Harrison, age 77.

The show has been a guilty pleasure of mine since day 1. He was a fun, curmudgeon.

Damn.

Harlan Ellison has passed.

that's a huge loss.. . even tho he was getting up there in age, and crabby most of the time. . he was a brilliant, brilliant man, and one of my favorite writers.

perhaps best known by the general public for his writing of the Classic (as in many folks favorite) Star Trek episode "the City on the Edge of Forever"

For some reason Gene Wilder passing away was coming up on the bbc website today. I didn’t realise he had died 2 years ago so was sad to read it even if I’m two years late

^ While I didn't vote for him because Obama was the better candidate, I did respect him as a Republican congressman because he wasn't afraid to reach across the aisle if it benefited most Americans.

And yeah, being a veteran and P.O.W. makes him a hero in my book - despite what our dumb-ass president says.

^^ & ^he was a wife-beater.

(both Judy Carne, and 2nd wife Loni Anderson were/are on record accusing him).

glad you enjoyed his films, and as an actor I suppose he was ok. as a human being? he was a piece of garbage.

and I'll bet very few of the obits are going to mention this.

and sorry to be negative in the RIP thread.. there are a handful of Celebrities that would elicit the same reaction from me.
