The Bebes
^ Agreed!! I LOVE raw tuna, as well as a few other raw fish! And that sandwich was GOOD! The sauce on it was a bit distracting from the tuna flavor, I probably would have ordered it with light sauce had I known, but it was tasty nonetheless. Unfortunately, Mr. Bebe doesn't share my love for raw tuna, but he's coming around. He had never even tried sushi when we first met and now he loves it! One of these days he's gonna be ordering tuna sashimi with me! Anyway, glad you've enjoyed the TR... Mr. Bebe is at home right now working on the next one! - Lady Bebe
Pirouettes907
As usual, your pictures and captions were entertaining. As usual, they brought a smile to my face (and a cringe from the "unacceptable amount of wetness" photo!). And as usual, I'm looking forward to more! ~Megan
triggernel
It was actually Adam Sandler, not Ben Stiller in 50 First Dates.

The Bebes
CGA report and the Bebes' own FIND the Ducky Contest Tonight!
The Bebes
DAY 3: CGA Tuesday August 18, 2009 THE BEBES’ very own FIND THE DUCKY contest is here! It just so happened that we entered a souvenir shop and found a bunch of yellow rubber duckies with NAMES on them. So we purchased THREE duckies. One that says Corey (Mr. Bebe), one that says Danielle (Lady Bebe) and one that says Michael (Big Mike). In honor of the big man himself, we decided to host a one-time only find the ducky contest at California’s Great America. Here are the rules: 1. Find all the duckies hidden throughout this trip report. Reply with your answer. 2. Once somebody has answered, somebody else can “Quote” them and LOCK the answer in. 3. Like usual, the first picture of the three duckies does NOT count. 4. The person to guess the correct number of duckies will win a mini-TPR bag-o-crap from the Bebes. 5. In the event of a tie, there will be a random tie-breaker (coin flip, names from a hat, etc). Here’s the Bebes’ twist: There might be up to 3 duckies in any one photo!!! So make sure you look really carefully. The three special duckies will be given to Big Mike at this years’ West Coast Bash so that he can use them for his 2010 contest. Since there are a number of TPR members on a special cruise right now (The Bebes are very jealous), the contest will stay open until Next Monday. Good Luck Everybody! [/b] All in all we had fun (as we usually do), but overall it was a pretty lame park. There were no standout rides and very little charm. Sorry CGA. Tomorrow: Gilroy Gardens during the day AND Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk at night (2 trip reports). Good luck finding the duckies!!!!!!!! Over to the flat ride centrifuge. The school field trip was sending Mr. Bebe into a nervous breakdown. This would be our last ride at CGA. No. Finally back to the Psycho Mouse. We pretty much both hate Wild Mouse rides. Even worse is a Wild Mouse with long lines!!!! Didn’t we try to get this out of the way BEFORE the crowd got to it? F’ing Cedar Fair!!!! So was it worth the wait??? Was it the worst coaster EVAR? Not in our opinion. It wasn’t very good, but it wasn’t the worst either. Lady Bebe is really excited to ride the “WORST COASTER ON THE PLANET” as voted by numerous people. It sure looks popular. Lady Bebe sings Marilyn Manson’s “Beautiful People” into her ice cream cone in front of Grizzly. Don’t ask. Sometimes she’s just weird like that. No trip would be complete without a game of Whack-a-Mole. Lady Bebe goofed off while Mr. Bebe caught a nap. Is there a show going on in here? Look! Air conditioning!!! Let’s go!!! Vortex, the stand-up coaster, was PAINFUL! Hey, there’s the Jellybean! We made our way to the Sky Tower for a park overview photo. After eating we found our way to the Rue le Dodge (bumper cars). Mmmmmmmm, pink lemonade and pizza!!!! We moseyed on to the New Orleans themed area of the park. …Flight Deck. Mr. Bebe is a fan of B&M inverts and this was the one ride in the park that The Bebes were looking forward to. It was quick and forceful, but really short. Fun. But short. We ventured on to the flat ride called Orbit (Enterprise). We got on, got strapped in, and it wouldn’t go. So we got unstrapped, got off, and moved on to…. It’s Delerium! Shaggy and Scooby were too afraid to ride, but The Bebes rode. Afterward, the ride op gave us a Scooby snack. Something up there must be quite spooky. Some kids were kind enough to invite us on with them and even sported a “TRES! OLE!” Mr. Bebe attempts a child-napping for a credit on Taxi Jam!!! Next up was the most anticipated ride in the park, Taxi Jam. Unfortunately, Adults can only ride when accompanied by a child. Grrrrr. We could barely squeeze into the Runaway Reptar, but we got our credit!!! But Mr. Bebe ate the Runaway Reptar rollercoaster instead. Yum! This Runaway Reptar (is this how we teach our children to spell?) tried to eat The Bebes. We enjoy these Giant Disk-O rides and this one was OK, with some water spitting tiki god heads near the center. Onward to the parks newest attraction, Survivor: The Ride. At least SOMETHING was open at the back of the park. Invertigo had stalled on the track a few days earlier and was closed for an extensive investigation. We cried. We moved on to Grizzly. Grizzly doesn’t open until noon. We cried some more. Psycho Mouse??? Nope. Also closed until noon. WTF!!!! First stop: Demon, An old arrow double-looper. It was quite a jarring ride. We tried front and back seats with the same result. Although, the cave pass-through is a nice touch. (Yes, this photo was altered.) Insert Clerks reference here If you win this game you get a big blue penis. A beautiful old double-decker carousel is the centerpiece of the park. Quite a nice park too! We decided to forego the rides in the front of the park and beat the crowds to the rear of the park, then work our way back around. Here is a nice miniature replica of Mount Rushmore. Of course, the season pass from Knotts won’t scan ANYWHERE except Knotts. We had to stand in the Guest Services line so they could print us our comp tickets. Until Mr. Bebe spotted multiple school field trips gathering in the picnic area. Mr. Bebe’s blood began to boil!!!! Since we have Cedar Fair Platinum Passes, we were provided with a PRIMO VIP Preferred parking spot right next to the main gate. It looked like we were gonna have a great, crowd free day!!! We woke up, grabbed a quick bite from the Best Western lobby, and headed for California’s Great America. These are the duckies you are looking for. The three in this picture DO NOT count toward the total. Edited January 25, 2011 by The Bebes
