MayTheGForceBeWithYou
Is there a way to make a functioning Arrow shuttle loop coaster without having to make a section of track going upward on the return side? People who make a ride stop and go backwards do it through video editing. One take versions of an Arrow shuttle wouldn't be possible without custom track. MeMeMe
Hey, I have had my current (Vista) computer for quite a while, relatively speaking, and in this entire time I've never played any Tycoon game. I must ask you if I should opt for RCT3, which may run better, or RCT2, which I know how to use (and enjoy using very much). Any answer would be appreciated! mcjaco
^ Need to know more about the PC specs, than just the op system, before we could tell you. Â RCT2 is always going to be the safer bet, however.
MeMeMe
My computer is fast enough, has enough memory, a good enough graphics card, etc. for either.
A.J.
It really shouldn't matter. As long as you have the proper specs for both games, you can run both. My family has used two Windows Vista machines for years, and both games were completely adequate on the machines until I got my Macbook Pro and installed Windows 7 on it. MeMeMe
I think I'll just install more memory (just in case) and get both, but while RCT3 is available for download, the only legitimate, no-expansions copies of RCT2 are via CD-ROM. Any advice?
SkyBreak95
What specific folder would you place this in? www.customscenerydepot.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=877 And what coaster do you use?
A.J.
Read the Readme file included with its download, that's what it's there for.
scbt
does anyone know where i could download a copy of the wild expansion? (legally of course)
A.J.
It's not available for download legally. Nowadays, Wild is only bundled as RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Platinum, which is for Windows or Mac OS 10.6 (Snow Leopard) or older.

galindoverhere
Use the path caled "Water Tunnel" (I believe that's what it's called) and make it go downwards into the water...

molemaster43
Awesome, hope you like Wild! I know I love Wild and it has really helped me make some cool animal parks in RCT3.
galindoverhere
Question: Is there a way to avoid lag when you're boosting up your game's resolution? That's a problem I'm currently facing right now with a park I'm building... Edited May 16, 2012 by galindoverhere

A.J.
The higher the resolution, the more the game has to render at once. Â I run my RCT3 at 1280x800, even though my Macbook's screen renders at 1440x900.
galindoverhere
Alright, thanks guys! A.J. I'll use your method and see what happens...
Cyrbuzz
When attaching pics for a park, my pics were over the 2Meg size limit. How do I convert my pics to where they won't be as large? It is a screen shot from the RCT3 game saved as bitmap.
QueerRudie
There are a number of ways you can 're-size' your pics: Â 1.) Use an on-line photo re-sizer (Google it- there's quite a few out there) Â 2.) You can also re-size in Microsoft paint, too- depending on the version you have of it. Â R.D.

cymonster-rex
Is it possible to make a multi launching coaster without downloading a custom coaster? I know that the twist coaster that has the launched lift hill. Edited May 28, 2012 by QueerRudie
Ace Of Spades
^You can always use a chain speed cheat or block brakes to create a secondary boost of speed. Beyond that, I don't think there are any ways to create a multi-launching coaster.
