Favorite Coaster at KD

Whats your favorite coaster at KD, Defunct or Operating

I'm doing a math survey and I would expand it, but stupid teacher says I got to limit myself under 25 choices.

So can you help me?

I've never been there, but Volcano looks the best, so I voted for that.

I'm going to be the odd one out here and say that I choose Grizzly because that ride is just pure awesomeness at night and it's actually smooth contrary to the popular belief.

I found Volcano too short and I expected more from that ride so it was a bit of a let down.

 

The rest of the coasters are not mentionable or at least not in a good way.

Dominator and Volcano are both strong coasters, but I have to prefer the B&M just for how great it really is.

 

I agree that Volcano is a little too short, but I find it incredible that you can just stare out into the blank space that used to be filled with dark rides (and smurfs)... That kind of history just gets to me. I found that piece of info to be more interesting than much of the coaster!

 

On the East Coast Trip, I was one of the few that enjoyed Grizzly as well--it gave us some insane airtime in the front row, and using "Walk-on Wednesday" passes help save us the rediculous wait.

If Dominator wasn't at KD, I would've chosen Anaconda.

I really enjoyed Dominator. Certainly my favorite in the park.

Maybe because the ending is extremely anti-climatic. It's like a 60' drop right into brakes.

 

My favorite there, by far, is Grizzly. Definitely a very underrated ride, especially at night. Amazing tunnel, very out of control, lots of airtime - it's one of the few 'big park' wood coasters that I really enjoy.

Dominator is definitely the best of KD's coasters now, with Volcano coming in second. I'm a fan of Grizzly, too--I'm just a sucker for the "Shed of Death."

 

The worst is probably Anaconda. On its best days, the second half of the ride is boring; on its worst, it's brutal.

My only KD visit was a middle-school band trip there in 1986. Shockwave was new (I think). As neat as the stand-up gimmick was at the time, I loved Grizzly and still hope to ride it again someday.

I liked Flight Of Fear best, Dominator was good as well.

I picked grizzly. Its a classic and what wooden coasters are all about. Love the transitions and the airtime!

I have to give the nod to Volcano in what I consider a lackluster group of coasters. I just can't put Dominator first when it's missing B&M's best inversion. ...a zero-g roll.
