AFAblackhawk Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 @imawesome: How do they get onto the deck. And use some deco trims to spice it up.
scbt Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 @ Parallax -- That is amazing! I presume that it is a RCT3 CTR or is it a model or something else?
CoasterB Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 (edited) I've also recently been working on a water park, I never make them so I thought i would give one a bash Edited July 25, 2012 by QueerRudie
GayCoasterGuy Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 A couple from my recent Kennywood *tribute* area on the top of a mountain in a big park: And a Demon inspired by... The Demon: Does anyone know how to take a larger, higher resolution capture in RCT2? Print Screen doesn't work.
molemaster43 Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 The next to last picture looks awesome. I support the Kennywood tribute . I also like Demon. Keep up the good work.
Xtreme97 Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 (edited) I like the screens! Unfinished: Edited July 26, 2012 by A.J.

Ace Of Spades Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 ^^I love the detail on that building! Very Victorian.
GriffyTiffy Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 I was watching some videos and looking at pictures of the Thriller, and I got inspired to build a Schwarzkopf portable SCR18.BMP Layout SCR19.BMP And the stats. This is one of my favorite coasters I have ever built! It was so fun to make.
simaticable Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 That layout's going to have to be fine tuned a lot as it isn't something Anton would have made.
SoCalCoasters Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 ^In what way? It looks like a very good Schwarzkopf layout to me. With the limits of RCT2, I think the steep unbanked curves are inevitable, and shouldn't be considered "wrong".
simaticable Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 Note: This is what I see wrong with GriffyTiffy's layout: 1) There was never a need for more than one station. You could probably add another block. 2) The steep drops and curves are really not needed. (RD will probably go into detail later) 3) The blocks-there needs to be enough blocks for two trains after the station. 4) A Schwarzkopf station in RCT2 MUST be 6 units long- no more and no less Here's something I've been working on: SCR44.BMP
GriffyTiffy Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 There are enough blocks for 3 trains after my station, and the stations are both 6 units long.
simaticable Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 I only count 5 units on each station, but there should only be only one station. Anton never made a roller coaster with multiple stations. Also, six station lengths makes it possible to have the 7 car trains that Schwarzkopf made for his loopers.
GriffyTiffy Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 I apologize, there are only 5 units. But the trains on my coaster have 6 cars, just as the Thriller did.
kumba830 Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 That layout's going to have to be fine tuned a lot as it isn't something Anton would have made. Ok... I think the way you approached this was a bit on the harsh side, pointers are fine but to completely trash somones ride is another thing. After all, it is just a game. Whizzer at Six Flags Great America originally had a separate unloading station before the main [loading] station. Also, Tig'rr at Indiana Beach has the loading/unloading two station set up, as do many of his other creations. Just letting you know.

-Edge of Beast- Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 I love that layout Griffin! Very Schwarz-like. Meh.
GriffyTiffy Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 I had to double take when I saw that photo. It looks so real! Can't wait to see more!
