WHERE THE HELL IS PRINCE?

(Seriously, go to 3:30 in this video and watch him destroy.)

yeah, Prince deffinitley owned. He's wayyyy underrated. Did you catch him on the Superbowl? It was a damn good show.

My fav guitarist hands down is Jack White. Listen to the Raconteurs new album, his playin along with the songwriting is top notch. check it out.

David Gilmour is another great one. Dark side is amazing.

I think John Butler is my favorite.

John Butler is a fantastic guitarist, but i didn't think he was popular anywhere other than in Australia. Otherwise, i would have definitely added him on to the list..

He's not popular in America at all. I discovered him by myself on YouTube.

Jimmy Paige. The god of rock.

For somebody who thinks he's a god, they need to know how to spell his name...

'Popular' is a relative term. Just because somebody doesn't have airplay on pop radio doesn't mean that they aren't popular at all. I've known about John Butler and the John Butler Trio for quite a few years. He's received quite a bit of popularity among young adults like college students as a result of touring with the likes of Dave Matthews and John Mayer, as well as playing shows like Bonnaroo.

Hahahahaha, why is Johnny Ramone up there? He SUCKS.

Clearly...

ROLLING STONE MAGAZINE "THE 100 GREATEST GUITARISTS OF ALL TIME"

16. Johnny Ramone of the Ramones

He kinda MADE punk rock guitar. Just because he doesn't rip off crazy solos doesn't mean he can't play. I find several chords to be harder than just fingerpicking. Especially his power chords.

But then again, I'm not good at guitar anyway.
