I'm honestly SHOCKED at how quickly is moving.  I expected the ride the be down for the rest of the season, but at this rate we'll probably get it back by early August.

My guess is Carowinds and B&M are ready to roll. It's probably mostly waiting on the "third party"/state inspectors to make their way to the park and give it their all clear. I'm so happy with how Carowinds has handled this. From the press releases to the actual replacement. A+ grade.

I'm not surprised by the renaming in the slightest.

Curious though if it was a cost-cutting maneuver by Cedar Fair, a licensing fee increase by Dale Earnhardt Inc. (DEI), or a combination of both.

Knowing how Teresa killed DEI in the race world, wouldn't be surprised if it was a licensing increase at renewal which CF just said "nope" to.

Upcoming plans leaked. 

"... include a "Racin Railway" rollercoaster, a rapids splash battle, relocated train ride, a meet and greet area, and a new splash pad."  Appears to be a clone of the snoopy coaster at CW.
