Vekoma Fan Boy Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 Cool!! I'll have to try these out. Though I am fakking around with Red & Buster's FVDs... (Not as bad as you think...still pretty bad though! )
riccoaster Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 How do you circle build? I don't quite understand how people do it.
Loefet Posted March 2, 2008 Author Posted March 2, 2008 You use the 3d objects to make perfect circular helices without pumps, or parabolic hills for perfect air, etc. It's just a way to make perfect shapes without having to use a tool to make it for you.
Angry_Gumball Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 I've used these before, but I'll download it again as I could use some help for making circular loops and stuff. I'm a hand builder and have no intentions of using formulas to create my track...takes all the fun away.
Loefet Posted March 3, 2008 Author Posted March 3, 2008 I've used these before,No you haven't, since I made them last week, and my pack includes stuff that have never been available before.
Steffen_Dk Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 You use the 3d objects to make perfect circular helices without pumps, or parabolic hills for perfect air, etc. It's just a way to make perfect shapes without having to use a tool to make it for you. Which 3D objects, and where do I find them?
Angry_Gumball Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 I've used these before,No you haven't, since I made them last week, and my pack includes stuff that have never been available before. Odd...Well, I never mentioned who's 3ds shapes I've used, but I had some a while back. They called it a 'pump remover' which consisted of just circles.
AlmereStars Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 for helixes I always used the Cheese 3D as an example, I really like these ones!!
Loefet Posted March 5, 2008 Author Posted March 5, 2008 ^ It works for me. Odd...Well, I never mentioned who's 3ds shapes I've used, but I had some a while back. They called it a 'pump remover' which consisted of just circles.I have also used those, but decided to do my own since I need higher resolution objects, to make better tracks.
bgeguy Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 I can't download it. All I get is a "the page cannot be displayed"
Loefet Posted March 16, 2008 Author Posted March 16, 2008 ^I think that's Ridehost where I have the file is down at the moment, just check back later.
scruffy Posted March 18, 2008 Posted March 18, 2008 Okay now it says. The file can not be found, this may be because it has been deleted for violating the TOS, not a valid file type or has never existed.
Loefet Posted May 10, 2008 Author Posted May 10, 2008 I have updated the pack, with a true parabola, for those perfect floater hills.
ArrowHater Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 Can you please post a non zipped version for my mac!
Loefet Posted May 17, 2008 Author Posted May 17, 2008 ^Why not get Stuffit Expander works very well on my mac and it's free.
Real Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 You use the 3d objects to make perfect circular helices without pumps, or parabolic hills for perfect air, etc. It's just a way to make perfect shapes without having to use a tool to make it for you. In effect, this is a tool, isnt it? Something it showing you what to do. Not a bad thing, just another tool to add to your arsenal.
stormrider Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 The clothoid shape should be really helpful for me. Thank you for making these objects, aka "tools". A suggestion for the future is that you could make a cycloid shape.
KDCOASTERFAN Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Has anyone got any screenshots of these "tools" in action? I wouldn't mind seeing some before downloading the file & risking an error occuring with my copy of NL,much like the one that happened with RCT3
Eric_Smith Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 ^Don't worry about it. They are just scenery files...
