One thing I find a bit odd is that there's been no news about Adam "Pacman" Jones. Yeah, he's acted like a wanna-be gangsta and all that, but there's got to be at least a couple teams that need a corner bad enough to take a chance on him. I'm not the least bit sad that he's no longer wearing the lone star on his helmet, but it won't surprise me one bit if he lands another gig. Maybe he'd fit in with the Raiders? It seems like they were once the group home of misfit thugs that the Cowboys have aspired to become over the past couple seasons. I'm just surprised we haven't heard anything more about him since he was cut.

Despite all the Romo haters that will tell you he's destined to always choke in the clutch, I think he's primed for a bounce-back season. He's got all the necessary skills, along with exceptional escapability and an amazing knack for making something out of nothing. Sure, he'll probably throw a few bonehead picks at really inopportune times, but if he can just cut down on dropping the ball for no apparent reason, he'll be fine. My suggestion is to have the coaches require Romo to carry a football at all times and fine him some really ridiculous amount of money any time he drops it. The guy has simply got to become a whole lot more serious about ensuring the ball remains in his hands and not on the ground.

How about T.O.? My guess is he'll be staying put for the time being. Jerrah probably found it hard enough to admit that Pacman was a mistake. I think he actually believes that he can babysit T.O. long enough to make it to a Super Bowl with him. The Cowboys are still, despite their epic collapse at the end of last season, right behind the Patriots as the 2nd favorite among oddsmakers to win the Super Bowl. The guys that make the lines in Vegas don't give a chit about anything but the bottom line, so maybe Jerrah is smarter than we generally give him credit for? I guess we'll see.

Nobody is going to take a shot on Pacman until he isn't being investigated for that strip club shooting in Atlanta anymore. Plus when he was actually playing, he sucked.

As for Romo. why would he have a bounce back season? He's freaking Vinny Testaverde with a hype machine. He can put up great numbers, but when it gets important he makes absolutely horrible decisions. The Cowboys will never win anything with him at the helm and Jerry Jones thinking he knows how to handle football personnel.

For my Broncos, I really want them to sign Ray Lewis, if only to bring some heart and soul back into the defense. Alas, they pretty much have no shot at him. I will settle for Channing Crowder though, since they are moving to a 3-4 and would be a good fit. They better draft either Muauluga or BJ Raji from BC.

So far I am somewhat pleased with my Broncos signings, but don't know what is going on otherwise.

Good - Brian Dawkins will bring much needed leadership and heart to the defense. They also picked up Andre Goodman from the Phins to play the CB spot opposite Champ. Jabar Gafney is going to be a dangerous 3rd or 4th receiver. They signed Corell Buckhalter who can bring some stability to the RB position.

Bad - I don't know what the hell they are doing shopping Cutler. I realize you like Cassel McDaniel, but the guy only had one good year and had looked horrible before that. You just ticked off the franchise QB who happened to make the Pro Bowl last year.

The Ugly - Brandon Marshall gets arrested again for arguing with his fiance in ATL. the charges got dropped, but I wouldn't be surprised if he gets supsended.

So much for T.O. in Big D. I found the news of his release surprising, but it's probably the right thing to do. The Cowboys are out of excuses now. With Pacman, Tank Johnson, the safety Roy Williams, and now T.O., all off the roster, they've pretty much cleaned house of all the players that were said to have been divisive or detrimental to the team. Hopefully this will be the start of something good.

Well, good luck to Buffalo on their most recent acquisition. He'll sell tickets. Beyond that, we'll just have to wait and see. Given that Buffalo isn't at the top of too many lists to even make the playoffs, let alone a deep run into said playoffs, we may be able to expect the T.O. meltdown even sooner with the Bills.

^Yeah, I can kinda see that coming too (teammate rifts)...being a tormented Bills fan, I was stunned by this news as Buffalo isn't known for adding "diva-like superstars" to their rosters. I think that everyone is still in shock here in Western New York. I was really expecting a Joey Galloway or maybe even a Marvin Harrison type of veteran signing - but certainly not TO!!

That being said, I think that the view for most people (now that the dust has settled) is that we have not made the playoffs in like nine years and adding a good wide receiver is something that we needed to compliment Lee Evans. What do we have to lose at this point? Remember...this is the Bills we're talking about here - the laughing stock of the NFL (along with the Bengals). Could it really get any more embarrassing?

Personally, I would have liked to have had him here last year so at least someone would have gotten in the face of our coaching staff for their bone-headed play calling that cost us games! (IE: Jets/Miami/Cleveland)

This is also going to pull more people in to the annual Toronto game - actually, I would not be surprised if this was the biggest factor in the decision to sign him. The first Toronto game did not go anywhere near as it was envisioned last year with insane ticket mark-up's for a snoozer of a game. They barely sold out and even then, there were probably more Miami fans than Bills fans. The Bills had to do something in order to pull in those big $$'s when they head up North!

Of course, we'll still sell out all of our home games in Buffalo as usual - whether the team does good or not. What else is there to do in Western New York in the fall/winter but watch football and hockey?

Yeah, I just can't figure out how any front office can actually sit around and think "Hey, things worked out well in S.F., Philly, and Dallas, so why wouldn't we open our arms and our check book to this douchebag?"

As a Miami fan, he couldn't have gone to a better place. Enjoy the headlines, Buffalo......and more than likely, the misery.

^ I know, all of the sports shows were all about A-Rod, Manny and T.O. yesterday.

Sheesh ...

It's been like that all week.

The thing is, I don't really know what happened to T.O. He seemed like a great guy for a while in the league. Then, he caught that winning pass in the playoffs against Green Bay a while back, and then he just started to change. I'm really glad Snyder didn't open his checkbook for him. I think I would have died with that on top of the signing of Haynesworth.

^I like what he does with the team most of the time, minus the picks, but yes this whole situation is just pathetic. It is going to come down to whether or not he goes to practice tomorrow, if he does I believe he will stay, if he bails he will likely be a lion or a brown.

Fantastic! After a decade of rebuilding from the elway era, we are back at square one. Jay *throws a little sh*t fit over talks of being traded* Cutler has officially asked the organization to be traded. I couldn't even tell you where he would go or who would pick him up. Logically the lions, niners, bucs, vikes all need qb's so one would assume he would end up there, but in a press conference, Bronco's owner Pat Bowlen suggested to Jay that he better be at practice tomorrow and that the organization is not interested in draft picks in a trade. Only time will tell what happens with this organization.

I really don't think Cutler is all that great anyway. The way they gagged down the stretch last season was even worse than what the Cowboys did, but since no one really loves to hate Denver, it just didn't get as much play.

Cutler threw 2 TDs vs 4 INTs in the last 3 games, all losses. The defense didn't have a whole lot to do with that. I'm not out to paint the guy as the worst QB ever or anything like that. I'm just saying that I didn't think he was all that great to begin with. I wouldn't be all that worried about losing him if I was a Broncos fan. Apparently, neither was the team when they were shopping him around. If he really was a top notch QB, then they'd have never been shopping him in the first place, right?
