OldJJman
The trip was awesome, the scenery was beautiful. I took some shots that showed the beauty of what we saw, and some were just for fun. I'll add more if I can find them. I hope you like them. Klotti coaster at Klotten. Superman at Parque Warner Triton's Fury Yet another look. Another look at Colossus. Looking down on Terra Mitica and the city of Benidorm from Colossus. Magnus Colossus at Terra Mitica View from the balcony of our hotel room. Close-up of one of the pools. One of the many pools, with Benidorm in the background. The Westin Resort Hotel in Benidorm One last look at Barcelona Barcelona behind the monorail Barcelona from Tibidabo Barcelona from Tibidabo The scary plane at Tibidabo. Montaña Rusa at Tibidabo. The trees were plentiful in the Polynesian area of the park. (Not the best pic, I know.) Dragon Kahn in the twilight. More fun with Kahn. Some fun with Kahn. Dragon Kahn in her morning glory. Dragon Kahn from the brake run. From Dragon Kahn, you can see the snow capped mountains in the distance. More fun with Baco. Some fun with Baco. The vineyard and station of Furious Baco. At Isla Magica, Jaguar is hidden in the trees. Above Tornado at Parque Madrid, you can see the city.
Bubba83
Awesome job Jeff, I really can't tell they were stitched together. Are there larger versions of these pictures? At this size it's difficult to make out some details. Maybe you could attach a .zip with the larger sizes if you have them, would be awesome! You definitely captured the beauty of the landscapes on a larger scale which is something most of the other pictures I've seen from the trip lacked. coasterdude5
Awesome panoramas! Especially the PortAventura ones.
Bruno Lancetti
Great pics... expecially Superman at Parque Warner Madrid!!! The "Superhero" flies over the nowhere land (...instead of a parking lot... that is more common in the USA...!!! eheheh)!!!
EmBy
Amazing photos Jeff, those Dragon Khan pics are brilliant. Big question I suppose everyone will ask is, how did you get these photos to turn out so good. Can't see any joins at all. Were you using a tripod? Moose
OMG three train operation on BACO without one getting stuck on the brakes and having to be pushed into the station! Beautiful shots and stitching.

robbalvey
Jeff, you should zip up some of the higher res versions and add the file to your post so people can download them!
bgwfreak
Great pics! Did you use photoshop to put the different images together? They look so seemless.
almightyfire
Again I say that thye parks in Europe are far more superior than any park here in the US.
OldJJman
I don't use a tripod, just my camera, and the "stitching" program is found within "MS Digital Image Suite 2006" It does take a bit of practice to overlap the pictures using (or finding) hard lines as reference points. Generally, that's what the program looks for first. The hardest part is keeping the exposure level constant. When the digital camera is on an automatic exposure level setting, the different angles will have varying amounts of light hitting the object, so you need to use your settings to make, and/or keep them constant. That makes the biggest difference. I wasn't going to post these, but you get the idea especially when you see the second EGF picture below. As far as zipping the files, the files are between 1.7 and 4.8mb each. Should I just resize them to, say, 1280x800 (or thereabouts) for those that want them as wallpapers? Let me know, as I really don't have a clue. Oh yeah, what pics should I include, just the coasters? All of them? Anywho, enjoy these last 6 pics. JJ Phantasialand's entrance plaza. The Peter Pan Akbar of the Sahara ride at Phantasialand. Troy (I think it could have been a great shot if we had been able to be there at a different time of day. I'm not really sure. Oh well) Troy A lot more of the exposure problem. EGF from the lift hill, with a little exposure problem.
rollocoast
There is some really great work in there. Definitely impressed. What camera did you shoot these with and at what ISO? Just curious.
Bubba83
^^ Nice new additions there. Where you say there are exposure problems, I really don't see them. I like what I see! 1280x800 would be great. All pictures would be awesome, but I don't know how willing Robb is to host relatively large .zip files on the site. From a user's standpoint, since I'm on broadband I wouldn't mind something that's even like a 100 megabyte download, it would be worth it to me. bigstevet07
Again awesome pictures!! These would be awesome wallpapers. Any chance there is a way to make one a dual screen? I have a dual screen at my work.
jten11
even with the exposure problem the pics of EGF are really REALLY good....very nice shots!
TheRapidsNerd
Terrific panaramas! So do I get coaster credits for looking at them, especially multiple credits per coaster, being a non-rider and all? Hey, I know it's an inside joke, but I couldn't resist.
Wes
Photoshop CS3 has a fairly good stitching feature, for what its worth.
USRoadTripper
What amazing photos! Thanks so much for sharing, Jeff! I'd really like to see the Barcelona as seen from Tibidabo ones full size. I've only ever been able to get one panoramic photo to come out for me, but I may try to experiment some more. -Julie
robbalvey
High res photos.....zip them....post them!!!!
Nrthwnd
Wonderful photos, Jeff! So seamless and breathtaking, especially the distant city and scenic shots. Thanks for sharing all of them. They're epic and great! (Edit: And I think my favorite is the vineyard and FB station shot.)
OldJJman
Here's one last pic of EGF (I really didn't like this one). The camera I use is a Sony DSC-T30 I had to zip the pics into 2 files. There are 18 pics in each. All of them are in their created sizes, so edit them as you wish. File A = 42.3mb File B = 49.8mb Thanks for the kind words.
