As usual, great pictures, especially the mid-air cork shot!

Guess I need to make plans to come back to Australia since 2000 was so long ago!! And this was pre-Superman! But I did get my Wonderland Sydney credits.

Too bad that Australia`s Wonderland has closed down...

One more thing, the logo of "Busch Beast" reminds me very much or the original "The Beast" at Kings Island!

OMG... what a strange thing... MOTOCOASTER is the name used by an Italian manufacturer... oh yeah... now I am able to remind the name... Zamperla!!! Ahahahahahahah... So, I think Dreamworld creative minds were busy during the motorbike coaster name "contest"!!!

Seems cool, even though I'm still not sold on the motorbike coaster concept, but I don't like how the park didn't release an overview of the entire layout.

Thanks for the update, Ian! I have been trying to find out what the plans for Dreamworld's new coaster was for a while. I can't wait to ride when I go there in January!

^ My thoughts as well, except for the seating and launch, looks more like a compact family coaster. Not that that's a bad thing, but not really utilizing the motorbike concept to it's full potential.

IMO It looks really sluggish and slow, it hardly makes it over the last hills. It also looks really like the vekoma version, but not as fast. I'm quite disappointed in how the ride has turned out.

Shame on Intamin for being so uninventive and unoriginal. But at least familys will enjoy it!

It is running very slow as shown in the video now, but I think as testing proceeds, the wheels will "wear in" and it will definitely pick up much more speed, ecspecially towards the end.

Awesome to see this coaster testing already! I think it's funny this will be the park's biggest line eater [750 p p/h]. Can't wait to ride in January!

I can't wait to go to Toverland next year though as that layout's so much better.

But despite being more excited about the Surfrider (our new half-pipe coaster at Wet'n'Wild) than this, the Motocoaster should still be a bit of fun.

I was definitely thinking the same thing. That must have been one of the first test runs or something, you can still hear the wheels squeaking its so darn new.

Just guestimating, i'd say after it breaks in, it'll go a good 10 miles an hour faster.

I remember watching some of the very first test runs of Silver Bullet, thing ran slower and was so quiet all you could hear were the wheels as it passed.

I am positive its a slow test launch. After watching videos of Booster Bike, which is around the same speed, it is double the height of this and flies through its elements! I am expecting a much faster circuit of the coaster, and look foward to riding it in january!

Looks fun, but they should take out the last 2 cars with the sidecars on them, this would reduce the weight of the train and greatly improve speed around the ride. Or to still let kids on, take out 2 lots of motorbike cars.
