Wow, i have got to get to Dollywood! Maybe I'll take my nephew with me since my husband is a wimp and doesn't do coasters. His favorite ride is the Tilt-A-Whirl. What a sissy ,But I love him anyway. Hey Jarmor when are we going to see that POV? Hopefully soon. Thanks!

Great pics from coasterdave (as usual!). Can't wait to go to the park in a few weeks to take some rides on this thing myself. I can’t say enough about how impressive this ride’s themeing looks. I believe it has really raised the bar for regional parks.

Ride looks pretty awesome, but I won't be passing through the Mid-West anytime soon.

Mid-West? Dollywood is in east Tennessee - it's the Southeast.

Great pictures!

I'm so glad I included Dollywood in my USA summer trip, because this looks amazing. I have a hunch this ride will end up as a favourite of mine, and the park will end up being one of the best I visit.

Nice TR and photos, and Mystery Mine looks like it met expectations. Dollywood really did a good job with this ride, and it looks like a great thrill ride that could also be a good first looping coaster for someone. The themeing is excellent, and this ride should be one of the best in the region.

Wow. Looks absolutely amazing. After the midwest trip (not before as I'll be hitting SoCal parks with Allison Alvarez & her brother), I will definitely be headed to Dollywood to check this sucker out.

Thanks to both of you for giving us a good idea of the ride and its theming but not revealing any of the surprises.

I rode the ride yesterday.

It is definately awesome.

It has some awesome effects and the ending is breath taking.

Just wish it was longer.

I love the mystery mine theme song as well.

My fiance and I finally got to go to Dollywood this past weekend and ride Mystery Mine. The ride was AWESOME. It was even better than I had anticapated. The best thing was riding it again with someone who had not ridden it before or seen any POV's of the ride. The "OMG" 's and "What in the heck?"'s were awesome...lol. I will say the ride is far more enjoyable than it is scary. So if anyone tends to become nervous with dark rides, don't be. It's well worth riding.

My pointers:

The best seats in the car are the front two on the right. The left side of the car tends to bang you up a bit on some of the turns. The front makes the difference of the ride just being fun, compared to being awesome, so it is well worth the fight to get it.

The women working the ride when I was there were MEAN...lol. And when I say mean they were mean. We had ridden the ride like 5 times in a row, and the last time, we politely asked if we could have a seat in the front car. And despite the fact that NO ONE was really in line, and there are 4 seats acrossed AND 3 cars are being loaded at a time... (12 front seats available" she rudely snapped "you either get on where I tell you or leave". The other times we rode it the next day were similar. They need to consult some Disney CM's to learn how to be a bit nicer. (On a side note, all the men were nice)

Also, the ride is great at night... just before the park closes. The lines are down almost to nothing and coming out of the vertical climb to the dark night air was amazing.

Okay well, that was a long post... sorry...lol. Just had to add my 2 cents. I also have some pics that I will add soon.
