SanDiegoAl Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Legoland California – Saturday, March 24, 2007 Can't beat that price! Thanks to this promotion: The preview of Las Vegas Miniland, a work in progress... My favorite ride in the park: Nowhere near as painful as X, but just as fun.
VegasCoaster Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 I love how they even have one of the monorail cars down to the t. Thanks for the update, I might have to go down and check it out if I go home anytime this summer.
BudtheWeiser Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 That looks great just wish they would update the uk park a bit
verticalzero Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Lovely looking park and some nice shots. The price for Legoland Windsor in England can be up to £40 per person, I will not spend that much on an entrance ticket.
WillMontu Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Anyone notice that they have High Roller, but not Manhurtin' Express?
Garet Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 lol shouldn't some1 nudge legoland and point out that the high roller is gone, is that a little insanity i see on top of the tower in one of the pictures?
spaceace12 Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 That is the hotel I am staying at when I go to Vegas in July. Anyone ever stayed there?
thefitness Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 That looks great. I've never been to vegas but I've seen a lot of the hotels on tv, and they look pretty accurate.
cfc Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 This is yet another cool Lego display, but the Luxor sphinx looks like it really needs to break wind.
disneylanddork50 Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 That is the hotel I am staying at when I go to Vegas in July. Anyone ever stayed there? I have and i had a bad experience. WE asked for non-smoking and we got a smoking room there were cigarette holes in the linens and it wasa kinda dirty. Me personally I would rather stay at the monte Carlo or the Belaggio. But maybe your stay will be better. . .
daveydo5172 Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Vegas here. Not only do they not have the Manhattan Express, they dont have the Empire State or Chrysler Buildings as part of there NYNY hotel(at least not in the pic). Though I think the sign indicates it isnt finished yet.
arrowfanman Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 ^ Yeah, that was my impression as well. Anyway, thanks for sharing the pics. I was there earlier this month and there were only footprints complete at the time. It was really nice to see a new addition to mini-land because, truth be told, the rest of it is really starting to show its age. The entire land is over due for a serious powerwashing or rebuild or something. -Jahan
Guy T. Koepp Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 That is the hotel I am staying at when I go to Vegas in July. Anyone ever stayed there? Yeah, A client holed me up in this POS one time while putting himself and his people in the Mandalay Bay. The inside looks like King Author threw up all over the place. The rooms are where he took his royal crap. But it's cheep! You get what you pay for. I'm so sorry! Awesome TR! The Vegas strip has never looked cleaner. Me and the fam will be getting over to Legoland sometime next month. I am excited to see the actual structures.
gisco Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Nice pics. I just got back from Las Vegas and it looks like they have done a pretty good job.
Twister II Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 I don't see any Lego-women prostitutes or flyers. Cheeeeeaaaaap....
PirateTinkerbell Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Great pictures! It's amazing how all that can be built out of Legos. I really like the Luxor pyramid!
rccrazy23 Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 The Stratosphere is inacurate, High Roller is long gone and it looked like none of the flat rides were on it except for the drop tower.
spaceace12 Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 My uncle is payign for the flight, he has some classes to do while he is there so the hotel is free.
daveydo5172 Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 The Stratosphere is inacurate, High Roller is long gone and it looked like none of the flat rides were on it except for the drop tower. Theres several other inaccurate things about the buildings...in all likelihood, it was designed and even built before they got rid of the coaster. The Treasure Island is also inaccurate, they havent had that street sign in at least two years.
coasterman7 Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 That is the hotel I am staying at when I go to Vegas in July. Anyone ever stayed there? Yeah, I stayed there. I went in January, so IDK what the pool is like, but overall the service is nice and you have many food choices like Krispy Creme and Pizza Hut. Anyway, great Photo TR!! Vegas looks nice!
Garet Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 The Stratosphere is inacurate, High Roller is long gone and it looked like none of the flat rides were on it except for the drop tower. i don't know, i think insanity is in one of the pictures.
ebtkid Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 Is there an admission fee for the robocoaster? (or whatever its called... )
boy_who_luvs_coasters Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 AWESOME!!!! That is sooooooo cool. It looks like it would take alot of work just to put all that together!!! That reallyt cool!!! -SHawn
