Expedition Evergreen

It's back for another year. Expedition Evergreen...my 2006 Christmas K'nex coaster. Check out the latest updates, and after the ride is completely built I'll have a video for you all to check out

here's an overview of the construction site, ok so it's just a tree mostly

I can not wait to see the finished coaster for this year! I loved last years and still watch the video frequently.

Not that I'm complaining, I love the design of it and I just watched the video from last year yesterday actually. I'm just a tad confused if it's gonna be the same thing or not.

 

Same concept, different layout. The tree is also really full this year which makes passing the track through the tree pretty difficult. I'm just kinda playing it by ear and figuring out where to run it

 

 

 

And as far as the comment goes about the turns being rough, yeah they aren't gonna be perfect cause building with that kinda support structure doesn't make for perfect turns

And in reality....no one is going to ride it!

 

I kind of always seen these things as something you build for "fun" not on the mark accuracy.

Wow great concept to this coaster! It looks like its gonna turn out great! I can't wait for the finished product.

Wow, that time of the year already? This project has really made me realize how fast the year has gone by. Anyways, it looks pretty good. WE shall see how it compares to last year.

Exactly. I actually try to make my coasters look unrealistic, because I like the way it makes my room looks. I like the "cartoonish" look the Knex coasters have.

EE looks awesome so far though, it's design is so professional!

The coaster is complete, while I'm not as happy with the turnout of this year's model compared to last year, I think it still turned out pretty well. Check out the pics, and I'll have some more up in the next few days as well as a video. enjoy

I love the ornaments hanging from the loop supports. Very nice touch

Man, and I have enough trouble bringing myself to just putting lights and tinsel on the tree!

 

The setup looks great this year. Can't wait to see the vid of 'the merry ride', heh heh.
