christianscoasters
I was looking on the MACK rides website and saw that the one of the wild mouse cars looked just like the ones in the haunted castle ride in the scooby-doo movie. did MACK copy Scooby-Doo or did MACK just let them use some for the movie? DATman
^There was once a wild mouse themed to this. It was at one of the WB parks...
jarmor
That coaster is still in existance and the trains were models after the ones in the movie. Click the picture!

Mack & Warner Bros. Movie World (Australia) made a combination of a dark ride and wild mouse coaster, themed to the ride in the movie. Hence, the identical design of the cars. http://www.rcdb.com/ig1652.htm

verticalzero
This ride is a show case for a company called "Laservision", it's uses mirrors, different coloured lasers to achive some amazing effects. There is also a backward 1st drop of some 20ft before hitting a turntable and doing the rest of the ride forwards. I wish X: No Way Out at TP was like this. Zen Coaster
I have a couple of bits of footage but yeah, it is way too dark to really capture properly - that's the appeal though - for half the ride, you're in a really dark room with lasers going everywhere - very psychadelic. I do this ride every time I go to the park. Would prefer our own Haunted Mansion over this still but hey, it's a very nice combination of dark ride and wild mouse. RCFreak
I personally loved the ride, the dark ride part was a LOT of fun, and then there's the wild mouse/ Rave going on. Good stuff, in one family freindly ride. (can we get a clone in the states now?)

Im workin on the POV, will definately be posted this weekend.
deano
The video has been uploaded now, (to the video forum). It doesnt really capture how much fun the ride really is, but it will definately give you an idea of what it's about.
Satoshi
Naw, Scooby Doo is way better then the Haunted Mansion! ^ i guess the Haunted Mansion's kind of a bit crap in many ways coz they're totally not lookin' scary but just bit creepy lol..... disney's magic mighta let it be creepy fun not for lettin' guests be frightenin' like 'real haunted mansion'. RCFreak
I saw the video, and it's not nearly as fun as the actual ride (which completly took me by surprise during the dark ride portion) but yeah, you can see most of it. I still want a clone state side.
