Meteornotes Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Dave *hearts* the strobes - we actually need to put strobes in his room next year to wake him up in the morning.. Â And with one post, Reed moves himself right to the top of the Tasering List... Â dt
cfc Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Hi, guys, Â I just want to chime in with my thanks for a truly excellent Halloween adventure! We of "Road Rules Orlando" (that is, myself and the "other Eric Johnson") had a great time reuniting with some of our fellow UK trip alums and meeting some new folks. Â In fact, I had such a good time, I had to spend most of Monday in bed recuperating (also brought back an awesome head cold). Might just have to make this a regular October thing (not the head cold, but the trip). Â If any of you find yourselves in the vicinity of TPR's "Mid-Atlantic Division," be sure to give me a shout--I expect quite of few will want to check out BGE's Griffon next spring. Â I'll post a TPR sometime this week, but Eric is already doing an excellent job. Â Chuck
Jahosifatz Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Severely jealous folks. Thanks for taking so many pics and sharing with us.
willski Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Way to drive 90 Â Â Haha, I was about to say the same thing. Let's see, going 93 mph in a 65 mph (or less if it was a construction zone)-that's probably an automatic license revocation plus jail time. Â Â /hopes you have a radar detector......jeez! Â Â
coasterfreak11 Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 He was actually going 93 mph to act like he was riding Millennium Force. I'm sure the police officer would understand.
BarryH Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 You mean he didn't go back in time when he hit 88 mph?
ParkTrips Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 note to self: remember that someone will ALWAYS find something in your photos. Â Honestly I believe that me taking the photo is more dangerous than driving a little over the speed limit (which I would bet was 70) Â I think you need to be blowing past 40 over to get arrested.
californiascreamer1 Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 duuude you guys need to do that kind ofstuff more often. cant wait for the videos,( duude that was col with going 93 mph, )
munkyknum Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 note to self: remember that someone will ALWAYS find something in your photos. Honestly I believe that me taking the photo is more dangerous than driving a little over the speed limit (which I would bet was 70)  I think you need to be blowing past 40 over to get arrested.  In Florida if you're going over 15mph you can get arrested to wreckless driving. That is, if I'm remembering my driver's test right.
TheStig Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 ^I go as much as 35 over on the way to school, but thats besides the point, you'll only get a huge speeding ticket. Â Colin C
RCTfan Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Aha! I told you Elissa that Clarice was at MGM Studios! I'm actually surprised she still comes out, but I'm glad to see it! Â I wish I wasn't working all the time you guys were here, otherwise I would've met up with you all. Poo on that. Â There's always next time!
Director_Guy Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 In Florida if you're going over 15mph you can get arrested to wreckless driving. That is, if I'm remembering my driver's test right. Â Why do they call it Wreck Less driving? Shouldn't it be Wreckful? or Wreck More?
arrowfanman Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 ^ Its spelled reckless. "Reck", meaning "to have care, concern, or regard", and the "less" there by removing the "care, concern, or regard". Â Now that we had our fun, the matter at hand is that Florida was an orgasmic expirence. No jokes, please. Â -Jahan
mickske Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Awesome pictures, and trip reports as usual. I can't wait for the video's! Â Seems like you all had a lot of fun there, I'm jealous.
CoasterFanatic Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 In Florida if you're going over 15mph you can get arrested to wreckless driving. That is, if I'm remembering my driver's test right. Â I have been ticket for 30 over and I still walk this earth a free man.
Imhotep Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 I dont think I know anyone that hasnt ever driven 90 on I-4. Usually, no matter how fast you are going, people are still flying by you anyways.. Â Great TR guys, as always. Im definately going to get the RIP passes next year for HHN!
ImAPrincess Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 I still walk this earth a free man. Â Only for 6 more months...then you're in trouble!!! Â Seriously, it looks like you guys had a blast!
BarryH Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 I was doing 90 mph down I-75 around Bradenton, FL and I got a speeding ticket! The ticket was $200, but they lowered the price to $150 if I went to traffic school. That was 5 years ago and the only time I ever got ticketed!
MDIMARE Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 ah why not... second half Day 3: Disney Day 4: Cypress and BGT Day 5: Sea World Orlando Regarding photo #5:I gust spoke with God, and you are correct, he loves Ohana's... and so do I!

meryll83 Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 Ok question, how do they set up the HHN's coz the parks are open throughout the day aren't they? Do you get kicked out at a certain time during the day?
