^Click on the node that is messed up and change the the type that it is. I can't remember the name of the node and I am away from No Limits until Sunday. If no one has replied, I will help out more on Sunday...

Perhaps I should just delete the last node in the hammerhead segment? I havn't been working on the coaster for quite a while because of this one issue.

No.

1. Click on the node.

2. In the upper right by the banking there are three buttons. Lock, Con Roll, Rel Roll.

3. Make it so only the Rel Roll is checked.

That should fix the problem. Let me know if you need more help.

In the end the OBT just didn't work out so I added a helix to the ride instead....now I've just gotta figure out the system blocking & do the supports & the ride should be pretty much complete.

The CK has nothing to do with 3ds that make your track smooth. It does have a built in smoother. It does export your track to a 3ds file. Its doesnt make a 3ds that smooths your track.

And no, you cant get a registered copy anymore.

I have a fully registered copy if anyone needs their track exported to 3ds.

Can I have a copy of that, cause I could really use that. Thank You

^Ya, just double right click on the green track and then simply just type in the speed you want in the speed section.

Since coastersims went down, what is the next best site to download and search for NL files?

Coaster-net & RCTlounge seem to have some good downloads available.

Hey guys, I just got a new computer, but have NL on my other one. I can't seem to find the activation key (the one you type in to activate it) anywhere. My question is, is there a way to transport it to my new computer, with or without the product key? Also, I did manage to get the program on my computer, so all I need is the activation key if it can be used twice. In these tough times, it would really be nice to not have to buy it again just to have it on my new computer. thanks

Probably http://www.Coastercrazy.com. But there are many others you might want a look at.

Thanks for the link, let's hope we don't lose this one like we lost NLDC & coastersims.

I can't find the file anywhere. When I'm in NL Editor, it allows me to bring it up and it's in the filebin. Whenever I'm out of NL, none of my projects come up. I went into winzip to zip the file (its 2.16 megs None of them came up in winzip either.

Obviously there is something I'm not doing right?

Thanks for the help

Pumping is when the radius of a said element changes multiple times in the wrong directions. Its hard to illustrate without showing you an illustration.

Download this file. The first hill is perfect in the idea that it doesnt pump entering it, through the apex and exiting it. The First turn also is perfect in that the radius changes 1 time (from infinite - the straight to whatever it is at its apex - then goes back) So thats how you want your hills and turns to look. The second hill pumps at the top. Watch from the back of the train, youll see the front of the train pump, or sorta inch worm its way over the hill. The exit of that hill and entrance of the next does the same. Rough and not a smooth radius change. However, the top of the third hill is just like the first - to illustrate good vs bad. That third hill is just a copy of the first but because the exit of the 2nd hill sucked, it screws up the entrance of the third.

The last turn illustrates a pumpy turn. Itll do exactly what the 2nd hill did, but in a turn. Avoid turns and hills (really, any element, even an inversion) that makes the same motion the SECOND hill and SECOND turn do.

When i looked into doing that about 6 months ago it was extremely difficult. There wasn't a real easy way to export or change objects from sketch-up into a .3ds object.

Probably your best bet for simple objects (although not as easy to use, but still not way difficult) would be anim8or.

Of course this could have changed over the last 6 months.
