I'm hoping to get a good day at SFMM next week where operations are nice and the staff aren't complete idiots. I'm basically going to ride Tatsu, Deja Vu, Sky Tower, and the almost impossible Flashback.

Yeah, I'm doubting that I'll be able to get on it, but it would be pretty cool. Finally, just to get on it and get it over with. Oh well, if it doesn't open, I can just hope it will open later this year.

I dont believe it has reopened. But this afternoon, I saw them conducting several tests. The center unit, which holds the seats, was being raised and lowered, and held in place at several heights.

^ Well, that is some good news. Let's just hope that Santa Clarita can persuade Six Flags. It seems like in that article it gave many reasons of why SFMM can stay and still cut down on costs.

Check it out they took down the building for future enjoyment wall in front of flashback.

I also saw mechanics working in the station.

 

This is most excellent...But I have to think about what Jahan said...If Shapiro was in the park that day, perhaps it was just a ruse?

 

Either way...I need to make a phone call. I will be there opening day for Flashback.

Haha, I hope not. I too will be running over there as soon as someone says it's open. It's annoying to see the stupid thing sitting there every time and have it not be operating!

I am well aware that Jahan was talking about Thrill Shot...But, he also said that Shapiro was in the park one day, and all of a sudden the walls come down from around the Flashback entrance and there are mysteriously mechanics working on it?

 

Either the park is covering something up, or he decided to actually allow the park to start working on the ride.

I'll admit, I was stupid and thought he was still talking about Flashback. But you're right. I think he was there and complained about it not being open or something, thus the dudes working on it. At least I HOPE that's the case.

I was up at the Mountain yesterday to ride Tatsu and other stuff, and the Building For Your Future Enjoyment sign is still down from Flashback. Operations were very good yesterday seeing that at about 3:30 the line for Tatsu was about 45 minutes. I'll be posting my Photo TR of my breakdowns and fun times later tonight. There will be some pictures of Flashback too.

Make of this what you want. But as I was leaving the park yesterday I did see a mechanic leave Flashback. I'm still open minded about what exactly is going on. But, I'm pretty sure that soon we'll learn the fate of Flashback.
