^ Thanks for that i didnt know it was only open on weekends im actually staying in anaheim but have a rental so it looks like i will go on the 9th January. How long is the drive from Anaheim, and if it is that quiet there i should be able to ride most of the coasters in the park

The drive is 1-3 hours

Best bet is to have a carpool, and head NORTH any way you can, then use the 210 West Carpool lane to the 5 north. Much better than 5'in it the whole way.

Ohhhh wait its a weekend, you might be ok on the 5. Might.

then use the 210 West Carpool lane to the 5 north.

The carpool on the 210 only lasts to Pasadena until it becomes the 134, with 210 thru traffic having to exit on the far, far right.

Recommended route from Anaheim

North 5 to North 710, exit on left.

North 710 to West 10, exit on left fork.

West 10 to North 5, exit n right.

North 5 to Magic Mountain Parkway, exit on right.

This route should be fine on a Sunday except from 11am-5pm. Travel time is 55-80mins.

Doomsday Route should I-5 be a disaster

North 5 to West 91, exit on right.

West 91 to North 605, exit on right.

North 605 to West 105, exit on right.

West 105 to North 710, exit on right.

North 710 to West 10, exit on left fork.

West 10 to North 5, exit on right.

North 5 to Magic Mountain Parkway, exit on right.

Travel time is 70-100mins.

The girls went out to their friends' house, so instead of just staying home, I headed out to SFMM. In fact, I'm posting this from the Cyber Cafe before hitting the road to go home. The park isn't that busy, really. I arrived about 11.

One ride on X2, about an hour wait. That was the longest.

One ride on Viper, two-train wait.

One ride on Ninja, about a three-train wait.

One ride on Terminator, maybe 15 minutes.

One ride on Gold Rusher, two-train wait.

One ride on Riddler's Revenge, used single-rider line, five minutes.

One ride on Goliath, two-train wait.

One ride on Colossus forward, walk-on.

Two rides on Colossus backwards, once in front, once in back, about ten minutes each.

For the most part a fun day, but I was pretty tired from yesterday and probably should have rested up. I just wanted the backwards rides on Colossus since that ends today.

Here's a random question: does anyone know where the red-winged Pscylone train is? They were only using the yellow- and orange-winged trains on backwards Colossus, and the red one was not on the transfer track. Could it have been dismantled for parts for the other two trains?

One thing I think is funny is how they don't even cover the word "Psyclone" on the trains!

I forgot to mention that riding in the front of the train when going backwards, you get some weird airtime on Colossus---sort of a "lifted up and thrown back" feeling.

^ Odd place for it. I didn't even think to look for it while riding, being that I figured it would have been parked on the transfer track. But I still wonder if it's headed for the scrap yard or sitting out being used to keep the other two going. I believe that these three trains are the only B&M wood coaster trains in existence, and I'm sure that B&M isn't going to make any more.

And it's hard to believe that they're 20 years old, too.
