Korea to receive B&M inverted
Nosferatu replied to Ed's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
But hasn't B&M earlier sad that they don't have any more rides opening this year apart from the ones already known? That being Griffon and Hollywood Dreams? Are we sure this is not Batman from New Orleans? Maybe they just messed up the stats -
Danish trip advice !
Nosferatu replied to msep003's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
You can do both Bakken and Tivoli in the same day. Start at Bakken, and spend the evening in Tivoli. That place is magical in the evening. If you do BonBon, Tivoli and Bakken in tow days, you can do either FÄrup, Djurs or legoland the last two days. LiseBerg isn't too far away either... -
Remove SOB's loop Remove the zero-g roll in chiller tear down flashback retrack thundercoaster put millenium flyers on Hershey's wildcat scrap Psychlone Add new Kumbak trains to Stampida add a vertical lift to tower of terror hey wait... On a more serious note I would make Rita closer to the ground.

Your favorite/best looking park entrance!
Nosferatu replied to zingo's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Seems like most people say their home park, or a park that is very near by A entrance that really made an impression on me was Eftelings entrance. It was one of my first major parks, but the size of that thing is enormous. And of course Magic Kingdom is always an favorite. Ans as someone mentioned, the Tivoli Gardens entrance is a classic. One of the lamest entrances I've seen is Mount Olympus. It was basicly just a few ticket booths with a fence. Tusenfryd isn't exactly impressive either, with their ugly red building. But Speed Monster looming over it, makes up for everything -

Very nice pics. Seems like the park has changed quite a bit since I was there in 1998. The EGF pic from your "best of site" is now my wallpaper -
Nice trip report. About RollOver, I heard from a friend (that also works at Tusenfryd) that the ride ops actually where running it with a longer program than allowed According to norwegian law, it should be less than 2min or something like that. When we where there it lasted more than 3 min Still a bad ride though.

I am going to SFMM and have a couple questions....
Nosferatu replied to FeelTheFORCE's topic in Ask Alvey
How many rides do you get flashpass on with the normal flash pass? Do they vary from day to day? And is there possible to buy a two day pass or something? -
Thank you very much! I think its strange that Six Flags don't write on their website how to get to the park with public transportation Anyways thanks a lot. I'm going on the 23rd and the 24th of july, so I guess the ques will be pretty long. again thanks a lot!

Hello Iâm going to the Us for the first time in a few weeks, and I have a few questions How far is it from Mt. Olympus to Timber Falls Adventure park? If I have understood it right it is walking distance? Is both parks doable in one day? In LA we are staying at a hotel in Anaheim, and while the rest of the family is going to Disneyland I realy want to go to magic mountain. So how far is it? How is public transportation? I propably donât have a car.

Both Alton Towers and Thorpe park har realy "bad" skylines. You pretty much don'tsee anything until you are at the front gate or stand in the park. Tusenfryd has a pretty good skyline, with Speed Monster and Thundercoaster dominating the front of the park.

Fuji-Q Highlands Discussion Thread
Nosferatu replied to Ed's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I doubt it is a launched ride, but it wouldn't surprise me. I read somewhere (think it was in first drop) that they wanted to make a launched version, and that they where experimenting with different ways to do it. But I'm doubting this will be launched. -
Donkey from Shrek is the coolest of them all. Donkey: Don't die, Shrek. And if you see any long tunnels, stay away from the light.

You didn't go to McDonalds in Norway then. A Big Mac coasts about 6$. 10$ for a meal. Its cheaper, but not that much in Denmark and Sweden I think.

Glad you enjoyed Tusenfryd. Yeah it's a nice park. But if you think the air-time on Thundercoaster is insane now, you should have ridden it in the first or the second season. It was more than insane. Anyways glad you enjoyed Norway. Too bad you didn't see the polar bears and oil rigs. Maybe next time Have a nice day at LiseBerg, something I'm absolutely sure you will have. It's an amazing park. -
Well that's what you get when you're on a mac. You should consider yourself lucky for even getting the game. I prefer formula built tracks, simply because a good formula track is bether than a good hand built. But you can find bad formula tracks too. I wouldn't say one way is easier than the other. Both are challenging in their own way.

Here is some screens from a park I made a while ago. It's a small 50'50 park with one major attraction: A big duelling woodie Edit: how do you submit multiple screenshots in one post? -
yesterday I saw Vertigo. Amazing movie. The story is very well written, with some nice twists. You think you understand what's happening, but then everything change. Very good job by James Stuart and all the actors. The second best Hithcock movie after Rear Window IMO.

Vekoma Woodies?
Nosferatu replied to Coasterkid20's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Rode Thundercoaster in it's opening season and it was one of, it not the best coaster experience I've ever had. The air-time at the second drop was AMAZING. I usually don't get scared at coasters, but the second drop in the back seat was so incredibly scary. Far bether than Balder IMO. Rode it again two year's later, and it had gotten slow, roughh and they had added seat-belts. Still a fun ride, but nothing compared to its first season. -
What is your local park?
Nosferatu replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I live in Norway. My home park, if you can call it a home park, is Tusenfryd. Its about 50 miles(metric) away! And they only have one good coaster worth reriding.
